The Bunny The Bear Are Free

2017-03-11 by Dreakon | 33 Comments
Buffalo NY post-hardcore act The Bunny The Bear have unveiled a new song titled 'I Am Free' from their upcoming album "The Way We Rust", to be released March 17th, 2017.

This album (and single) introduces yet another new clean vocalist (the bear)... following the departure of the bands original vocalist Chris Hutka, and more recently the departure of Haley Roback, the bands first female clean vocalist featured on their 2015 offering "A Liar Wrote This."

Damn another new vocalist? That's a good thing, given that the woman did not fit at all.

Lol, the fans are all fat.

Why won't this band just go away. How have they even survived this long.

Song's the first fun song I've heard from these guys in a while. Their album "If You Can't Say Anything Nice..." was really damn great, but they've been on a steady downhill trend.

what's the point of marking it as a live video when you just play the studio version over it and edit it like a normal music video

Enjoy this song quite a bit, in fact what I've heard of this new album is actually pretty solid. The harsh vocals aren't good, but I'll admit they're unusual. In the right situations, they actually kinda work. And yeah, the cleans are great.

One of the better songs I've heard from them.

I dunno, I feel like this song is an improvement for them. I still preferred them when they were "that cool local band that wore animal masks" though (I live near Buffalo)

The original Bear had an amazing voice, and was the only redeeming thing about the band. Now I just don't care.

They got big with "If You Don't Have Anything Nice To Say..." and would have stayed big if they didn't kick out the original bear. They replaced him with that chick and the band just totally turned to shit.

Anybody else remember when the one vocalist was in the Syncope Threshold and wasn't wasting his talents?

interesting you mention I, Omega as their vocalist was in this band for a while

this band is definitely on my 'guilty pleasures' list because even if a lot of stuff they do is pretty terrible they're usually at least interesting
