Ayeeeee
| |
What a cool little tune! haven't thought about this band for a while, nice to see they're still rockin
| |
this kinda gives me some Taylor Swift "Shake It Off" vibes and I'm not complaining
| |
^That sounds terrible. Gonna listen to this, but I have the lowest of low expectations. These guys were my favorite band for about 3 years.
| |
Lol don't put too much stock in that, I was just joking because of the sax
| |
That wasn't bad. Very brief. I like it better than Noise Pollution, that's for sure. Not to be THAT GUY, but I feel like their earlier work was so much more interesting and genuine. I don't think they've ever put out anything bad, per se, but they've been headed in a pretty similar direction since American Ghetto instead of doing something different every album like that had prior to that one.
| |
Tbh I like this more than anything on Evil Friends.
| |
Love this band
love the track
love sax
love the new album title
really hyped now
| |
'Tbh I like this more than anything on Evil Friends.'
Well the best song on Evil Friends is called Creep In a T-Shirt, so I'm not surprised.
| |
It's not better than EVERYTHING on Evil Friends
Waves and Smile are among their best songs
| |
Waves is good, yeah. But, I don't even remember smile and I have this on vinyl lol. It's been a long time since I played it though.
| |
Second half of Smile is one of the band's best moments tbh
| |
I'll have to revisit it.
| |
Smile is indeed one of their best efforts to date.
How can you forget that track?! You're a special person
| |
Very special. I may just not remember it by name. I'm sure it'll come back to me when I hear it, but that album was pretty underwhelming so if I rarely made it to the last song I wouldn't be surprised.
| |
I just happened to remember Smile because it was in a random playlist this morning.. The songs they bring are all fun and stuff, but very forgettable.
| |
It sounds a little too similar to "this Head I hold" from Electric Guest, but I'm digging it.
| |
I prefer Pedro. The Lion
| |
Way better than Noise Pollution. I like how understated this is.
| |
I can't decide if I like this or not
| |
yeah, pretty middle of the road
| |
"I prefer Pedro. The Lion"
That should be something like Spain. The Lion for the joke to work
| |
No dude there's an actual band called Pedro The Lion lol.
| |
lol band names these days
| |
Ehh it's okay. I wish they were still as experimental as they were in their earlier albums, now they're just another pop band.
| |
"this kinda gives me some Taylor Swift "Shake It Off" vibes and I'm not complaining "
I kind of like that song. Fuck me right?
If you watch the Rock dance/sing to it on his show it's pretty memorable. Probably on youtube if you wanna watch it for the luls.
| |
i love this. these guys have always toed the line between catchy and annoying but this is definitely the former.
| |
This was stuck in my head all day. That's good, right?
| |
Capable of much more, imo. Their better days are behind them.
| |
Not really feeling this, but the album could be half-decent (2-2.5).
| |
Probably. Everything before American Ghetto was 4+ imo.
| |
High praise! I would stall at a 3, but maybe a re-listen or two could fix that.
| |
Indeed. They were the most consistently good band on my radar for a couple years. At least give Censored Colors and Satanic Satanist another spin. Church Mouth is solid too.
| |
Taking my gf to see these dudes in july ive still yet to jam them
| |
Waiting for this to come out.
The song is good but the chorus is too similar to "plastic soldiers"
| |
Decent song.
| |
Song rules yea
| |
Nick Reinhart from Tera Melos posted something a while back about him jamming with P.tM. I was hoping he might inspire them to get a little weird again.
| |
Never heard Tera Melos- is it similar to some ptm?
