i am SO michelle branch
| |
it's not bad
| |
Best thing he's done in years imo, not saying a whole lot since Slaves' stuff until now was so mediocre, but still. Pretty sizable improvement.
| |
Pretty average
| |
Nothing new to see here. I see Jonny is still the only redeeming factor of this band.
| |
mix/production is a lot better than Routine Breathing
| |
hate to sound like a white girl, but this is pure fire
| |
I like the song, but Jonny Craig looks douchier than ever

| |
thought this was about kanye for a second
| |
he sang one line and i said "jesus christ" and turned off the video
i guess this counts as a visceral reaction
| |
ehhhhhhhh
| |
Best thing he's done since DBMII
| |
^this
I'd love to hear him do some more of that alt-rockish solo stuff like back in 2009
| |

And Johnny Craig joins the legion of butt rock with everyone else
| |
are these guys as good as sleaford mods i heard em compared a lot
| |
Wow. Lyrics are powerful. It perfectly describes where Jonny is in his life. Just Powerful.
| |
Not bad
| |
Yay, this is nice. Surprise.
| |
this rules
| |
First song I've ever enjoyed by this band, that chorus is fucking great.
| |
Slaves is everything Issues should be.
| |
was about to post "wish these whiny tories would just fuck off already" until I realised it was the OTHER slaves
| |
"Slaves is everything Issues should be."
I don't think Slaves would be able to pull off the genre switches and RnB influence instrumentally (I have no doubt Jonny would be able to keep up with Tyler Carter however)
| |
macbook
| |
"macbook" lol
damn am i the only one who likes issues
| |
The best song they've ever done musically, and Jonny is fucking on point. If the rest of the album is this good, I'll be very excited.
| |
sounds like a weaker Hands Like Houses but it's still the best thing Slaves have done
| |
needs something but idk what
| |
downtuned guitars prob
| |
This is easily the best thing Jonny Craig has ever done if we're being honest here.
| |
easy there dilto
| |
I mean don't get me wrong, I dug Downtown Battle Mountain and Emarosa's self titled, but is just seems as though Jonny's voice is so well controlled here, and that the instrumentals really fit and boost him up further.
His lyrics also seems a lot more genuine here than they have in years.
| |
okay and don't get me wrong this rules but its one song and nothing he ever does is gonna top DBM or the Emarosa S/T you'd know that if you weren't such a pleb god
fuck
| |
This song's a hard 4.5/5 to me compared to Emarosa's self titled and DGD's DBM both being 4s for me.
This Slaves song is literally the perfect utilization of Jonny's talent.
| |
i wish you were never born
| |
I think DBM2 is the best thing he's ever done, or will ever do
| |
song rules.
| |
Relativity > S/T
| |
pretty boring and bland. haven't dug a jonny project after emarosa's s/t
| |
*edit: dbmii
| |
everything they've done sounds like the same song rehashed over and over wtf.
| |
Will listen multiple times. Will also enjoy myself while doing this.
| |
Yoooooo this is good
| |
