So Ryan Parrish who played guitar and wrote guitar on the Satellite Years is actually not returning...Dustin Nadler is the one replacing him and he was the guitarist alongside Brigham (who has been on every album and part of both reunions) for the A Types and Magnetic North album.

So...

what we have is a melting pot of every era of hopesfall rolled into this new lineup that's never actually been together before

Magnetic North was their best album so if it's that lead guitarist then we's good to gooooo

yeah both magnetic north guitarists, the lead has been the same guy on every album

Lucky I have all their albums on vinyl/CD anyway, so the only really essential thing here is the Magnetic North issue with the original tracklist

and the bonus songs seem to have been reproduced

YES! Magnetic North was amazing, I'm not one of you silly guys hoping that they will bring a Satellite Years sound back. No matter what sound they bring, I'm stoked

I went ahead and pre-ordered magnetic north because goddam that album is too good and the vinyl was too good to pass up. Bummed satellite years was already sold out.

Listening to The Satellite Years for this first time in 2016. 5/5 easy

wow. im actually surprised at how many hopesfall fans are here. I mean, they were one of my favorite bands in HS and college and im stoked af to have them back, it's just cool to see so many people here interested in seeing them return. Out of curiosity, how many of you are also from NC like I am?

Additionally, there was talk of another album 8 years ago and then it never happened. At the time, a few of the guys said they were forming a different band and posted a couple songs on Youtube. For those of you that never heard it, here is the song:

Whaaaat? No fucking way... Hopesfall is one of my favorite bands. Holy shit... And they even made sure to include Saskatchewan in Magnetic North LP as track 8, as it was originally intended. Honestly, I'll be happy with whatever style they return to, though going back to either Satellite Years or Magnetic North sound would be awesome.
