New of Montreal Album and Song

2016-06-04 by Anthracks | 9 Comments
Hot off the release of last year's Aureate Gloom and live album, Snare Lustrous Doomings, of Montreal have announced their fourteenth studio album Innocence Reaches. Kevin Barnes states that his primary influences for this go-around include the likes of Prince, Arca, Chairlift, Jack Ü, and the usual late-sixties sunshine pop. "Through out the course of working on the record I could feel myself becoming more positive and hopeful than I'd been in a long time. I chose to title the album Innocence Reaches to reflect my, somewhat cautious, roseate transformation," Barnes says.

Probably one of the most hard working artists to keep putting stuff out.

Not listening to the song until the album comes out this time. I played out the pre-release singles for the last couple before the album came out.
