Musically, it's pretty sweet, but I do think the lyrics get a bit cheesy at points. Still excited for the album though.

It's alright, they'll probably never reach Elephantitis levels of greatness again though. That EP was all over the place, yet still very tight. Wake was pretty disappointing in my eyes (or ears, rather). Burn nice and slow, the other single, had a little bit of an Elephantitis feel to it, so I hope there's more like that on Culture Scars.

yeah Elephantitis was something else. Wake disappointed me as well since it was a dragged out version of elephantitis imo and that wasn't a good thing. I like that they're changing things up from their usual sound since that was getting tiring to me

yeah, the way I learned of them was at a dance gavin dance show where there were a whole bunch of bands on tour and some guy told me the drummer was the singer of this band. blew me away when they played, pretty amazing feat

He sings a bit worse live while also playing drums but that's totally understandable. They will often times have another drummer come up and play a couple of songs so that he can just focus on singing too.

Really enjoyed the song but was disappointed the they ended the song with a rehash of the chorus. Those cheesy lyrics only needed to be heard twice, not three times.
