anthony green making awkward as fuck faces while singing is part of his charm

Both songs sound good, but I don't want to listen to Anthony layered over himself in different vocal styles over and over for an entire album. I really hope they have more tricks up their sleeve than that.

Where are the riffs?

I dont know... since anthony green got big with circa survive and saosin got old and disappeared in "the scene", it seems a bit weird now.

It automatically feels like Circa Survive and a new Circa Survive Song. Especially with their last album "Descensus". The singing melodies are almost the same. And the instrumentals, songwriting and guitar-riffs in this song are also not that special and interesting.

Waiting patiently for pre-post-post-hardcore. This is incredibly boring!

This stuff isn't even coming close to their S/T for me and forget about recapturing Translating. Just hope it's not a failure at this point I guess.

Better than their last imo but that's not saying a whole lot. FUCK I really wanted to like this album like really really really. And tbh I don't think I could sit through straight 30-40 mins of Anthony's voice either. I guess it's dumb of me to think he was gonna go back to the way he sung like 10+ yrs ago

I'm not a fan of Anthony, but I could get over it if they were riffing like they were back on their self titled album, but this doesn't even come close to that.

Comatorium.

I liked it, but I am a Anthony Green fanboy. I'm still excited for the album.

Bummer this is kinda bland and I'm a Circa fan too.

Agree that they need the riffs of their s/t

It's not even just the riffs from the self titled, it's as though they totally forgot how to write a good chorus.

"Luckily the drummer is still killing it."

I love that guy. Shame everything around him is so lackluster. His playing was a big highlight of their S/T for me.

Nothing about this is interesting. It's just kind of there. It just feels like stuff happens and then it ends.

Oh well.

He was the highlight of the S/T. It's a shame they've been so inactive for so long, the guy is a champion. Needs his own band.

I was very into the post-hardcore scene when these guys were active. Didn't like them then and don't get all the hype then or now.

Get the fuck out of here. I wasn't as big on Blue Sky Noise as a lot of people and Violent Waves was a little subdued, but they were both decent releases. Descensus, though, was fantastic, so....

no riffs ? crazyness. I think its more the production that hides them, in their self titled the production emphasized the guitars. Theres definitely some sick riffs in this song.
