I really enjoyed this track. It sounds like a natural progression from M/M. If the rest of the tracks are this good, I'll be very happy.

Hoping this will grow on me, I feel like it's one of their least interesting songs since Identity Crisis. I otherwise really dig the tone of the new material and the band clearly has energy to spare so I'm hoping the uncharacteristically direct vibe I'm getting is just cause it's a lead single.

As a comeback single, this works excellently. Awesome song, great energy albeit quite straightforward. One of my favorite bands of all time, and they did not disappoint.

don't see what is special about this at all. The seether comparison someone mentioned really isn't even that far off. This is extremely uninspired and reminds me of Refused return which is not a good sign.

Those few lines apart separate them from the BS mainstream rock of NB and Seether. I do hear similar sounds to Seether but no. I think this is better than a fourth of MM. It's a solid song that definitely screams single. Content is interesting and refreshing.

This thread has gotten really pissy. Back on track. While the song isn't amazing and will definitely never be considered one of their best. It's still overall really good and I feel it showcases how talented Thrice still are.

@danred i think i feel that way about every single they've ever released. they pretty much end up being my least favorite song on every album. All thats left, stare at the sun, image of the invisible, all the world is mad, yellow belly are probably my least favorites.

jmh - I'd agree with all those except Stare At The Sun, I still love that track. But yeah, I imagine there will be much better tracks on the album. I've never disliked a Thrice album, and I doubt this one will break that trend

Nothing special about this song tbh. It doesn't really get me excited, but it doesn't make me think their new album wont be up to par either. Feels like a warm up, hopefully to more ambitious things .

It's a good catchy song overall, not groudbreaking or anything but a good hook into hearing the rest of the record.

In my case, I don't consider it a negative to say any of their singles are always their worst, just that they are never to the standards the rest of the records set. I love all of their songs except for a few and I just happen to love their singles slightly less than I love everything else.
