dear christ I really hate music now
| |
Track is actually pretty decent, as long as you like power metal.
| |
I feel this is a step in the right direction for Jacky. Nothing great or original, but it's fine. Still better than the new Black Tide ;)
| |
Sounds very... power metal-y, I guess. Not bad though.
| |
Guitars are pretty swiggity swoogity but vocals aren't my shindig
| |
He couldn't do worse than Falling In Reverse, so good for him.
| |
Hmm, I guess it works fine for his preferred style of playing.
| |
He should be playing power metal. His solos sounded like it.
| |
It might bring a new demographic of listeners into the genre which would be healthy for it.
| |
terrible terrible muzak.
| |
great
more cancer
| |
judging by 95% of your comments you have enough of that already
| |
Band name is terrible, but the song isn't bad. Certainly better than FiR
| |
the song is bad sorry
| |
power metal is pretty bad at names yea
| |
Have listened to this a couple times now, and I actually quite like it. Go figure.
| |
The band name is bad, hopefully the song is better
| |
no its shit
| |
If you like power metal, it's pretty solid.
If you don't, then yeah you'll hate it.
| |
i like actual good power metal. this is synth scene core shit with more power chords.
| |
square up
| |
shut up
| |
There's a lot of City of Evil era Avenged Sevenfold going on in the guitar playing.
| |
Not sure about this, but I've never been that into power metal. The guitar section is certainly more entertaining here for sure.
| |
"i like actual good power metal."
never knew such a thing existed

This ought to be good for him, he was brutally underutilized in Falling In Reverse

nice 2007 power metal memes guys
| |
through the fire and the flames we carry on

it's still not as unlistenable as falling in reverse tho.
| |

"Sounds very... power metal-y, I guess. Not bad though."
I don't know and I may be going out on a limb here, but it might be that it's a power metal band. Just a guess, though.
| |
You're crazy, how'd you get that idea?
| |
Better than FiR that's for sure.
Not good by any means though, the synths and vocalist in particular are garbage.
| |
FiR is garbage tier already so
| |
lol this song is comedy gold
| |
The only way I'd EVER listen to this is if I had an American flag draped over me as I'm massacring hundreds of terrorists
| |
Couldn't be any more embarrassing than Falling In Reverse so go ahead.
| |
"Former Falling in Reverse guitarist Jacky Vincent, who departed from the band last fall, has started a new power metal band"
That is a fucking sentence that actually exists.
| |
^ I'm amazed by that too. This is just a bunch of ew.
| |
Ok I actually listened to it now. It has some parts that are at best run of the mill mediocre power metal, which I am always down for, but the parts with the EDM beat and shitty pseudo-harsh vocals absolutely kill this song.
I will probably check out the album in hopes the rest of it is like the generic power metal in the other parts of the track.
| |
This track definitely has some awkward parts, like those EDM pre-choruses, but I do think there is some potential here.
