I like this band's sound but could never really get into them. Will check though.

ok, so this got pretty damn boring really fast. that melody from the second track got stuck in my head tho haha, reminds me of some older Amorphis or Bodom tunes

Got through the sixth song and then the playlist stopped working; reconnected and apparently it was taken down/made private?

It stopped working for me for a few minutes but right now it's working again.

OK, so it might be a Soundcloud issue then.

If you take out the vocals you could tell me this is a new Insomnium album and I wouldn't question it.

If it sounds like Insomnium then I might check it.

The lead guitarist of Omnium Markus Vanhala joined Insomnium in 2011.

It's a shame insomnium doesn't go for production like this, cause it's beautiful and it breathes. Although songwriting was pretty bland on the single

Great stuff. The single they put out didn't do a lot for me, but it seems like all the other tracks are much stronger. After this and their last album these guys are becoming a favorite of mine.

@lalchimiste @DungeonBoy well it's Swano who produced it after all

The last album was BOSS. A few tracks in this is pretty good, not sure if it's as great as the last one though.

the last one was great indeed. I'll have to give this another listen later, but it certainly wasn't on the same level as their last two.

This isn't as good as the last two but I enjoy it nonetheless. However, the closer felt too restrained and really brings the album down. I was hoping for another "Majesty and Silence" level track.

Bad production is such a plague in melodeath, only albums from Be'lakor and this that are decently mastered.

this isn't offensively bad, just really boring.

New World Shadows is the only album I've ever heard from them and it's pretty sweet. I'll probably check this at some point.

definitely better than i was expecting after the first few songs. not really fan of the clean vocals though. feels like they just threw them in there to take up space

Holy shit Majesty and Silence is one of the best Melodic Death Metal songs I ever heard. The clean vocals are amazing in it as well. Nice contrast with the harsh vocals. So many great songs on this album. I also love the keyboards in Foundation. Definitely picking this up when it's released.
