new vocalist's screams are awful but the chorus is kinda decent/catchy, sounds like Sempiternal-era BMTH

2/5 at best though, i'm positive the only decent thing about the album is the artwork which is kinda nice

Never liked this band, new singer ain't changing that.

Although Ben Bruce originally formed the band in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2006, after he realized that he wouldn't be able to achieve international success in Dubai, he moved to Nottingham in England in 2008 and reassembled the band with new members from the local area, including lead singer Danny Worsnop, who had moved into his flat apartment in York. He carried the name over due to not wanting to bother to come up with a brand new name, so he stuck with the old one.[5] When asked why he chose that particular name, he explained that "'Most bands have a pretty shit band name, so I just came up with something. I came up with Alexandria as a human name, because people relate to humans," although the reason for using the word 'asking' is not explained.[6]

The singer isn't v good, his cleans are mostly notes pushed out as hard as he can which is a trick used by people with bad range, Anders from In Flames loves this technique. His screams are also quite poor.

Really not my thing but it sounds well crafted enough.

You fuckers with your rubbish opinions. This is obviously a vast improvement on their old stuff. That Veep, veep, veep techno beat leading into the soaring vocals is a mind blower. The vid and style of the song reminds me of NINs' March of the Pigs but where that song is try hard angst this is artistic integrity and channeled fury.

Heard it before from Linkin Park and it is just them stealing from BMTH and PTV which PTV is decent. How the fuck did Ben Bruce end up on the cover of a guitar magazine? I learned to play the first album in an hour on guitar, you could seriously just play to the album, almost all of it is 0-0-0 bullshit. About the same for the 2nd but I forget most of it, 3 hours for the newest one. This could of been an improvement but the "fucks" in the song are unnecessary. I used to love this band sad to say. Saw them live 5 times and I met everyone except Danny but he is an asshole.

Yeah Arcade, the fact that this wasn't entirely unpleasant was a shock to me as well. I'm just glad they got a new vocalist. I was getting real sick of Danny doing a shitty Don Henley impression.
