I think I remember reading somewhere that Yeezus still wasn't complete 2 days before the release. Ye is a perfectionist, so changing up the record this close to the release isn't too weird for him.

I feel like, coming from him, calling it Album of the Life isn't enough any more. It's expected that he feels that way cause he thinks everything he does is the best thing ever. In a sense that almost diminishes the impact. If he ever released an album, didn't say anything, and dismissed it as "toilet talk" it would be just a monster that would bang people in the mouth. THAT is how you work publicity.
