Textures premiere new track

Dutch progressive metal band Textures have premiered the first track off their upcoming album Phenotype entitled 'New Horizons.' Phenotype, due for release on February 5, 2016, is to be followed up by a second album, titled Genotype, a year later.

Love the vocals and some of the riffs are great, but something about the heavy parts makes them sound a bit forced. Still excited for more Textures though and I hope this turns out great!

I don't like this as much as others do. The cleans have such a thick accent they detract from the epic sound they're going for in those sections.

Dualism was still pretty damn good imo. Just not nearly as powerful as the stuff before.

This sucks. the heavy parts sound awfully forced and generic, the cleans may be alright technically but holy shit they are unbearably theatrical and sound like a guy from xfactor trying to do hard rock. the rest of the song isn't nearly interesting enough to make up for the horrible parts...
