Gazpacho stream new album

2015-10-23 by Onirium | 9 Comments
Norwegian art rock sextet Gazpacho are now streaming their brand new studio album via German magazine Visions.

Molok, the band's ninth studio album, is scheduled for release on October 23rd. A concept album, Molok follows the story of a man, around the 1920s, building a machine which is "able to calculate the past and the future," and deals with the theme of conflictuality between religious and scientific ideas.

Somehow they got even weirder, and I'm loving every second of it.

I wasn't moved by extremely beautiful moments as I had been so many times on my first listens of Demon, but I sense this one is a grower, and certainly a very interesting record. The band themselves admitted it could sound boring on the first few listens

Clearly gonna be a grower. Not bad but I feel like there are things I need to get used to in this album before it really hits

Sounds good to me till now and I'm half in the album. Definitely doesn't move you as easily as Demon did, but that's because it needs more time, as Onirium said. It's definitely above a 3.5, that's for sure.
