im impressed. Habitual Levitations was good but not on par with their other material. glad to see theyre going back to a heavier sound.

has all sorts of Void in it. so glad they decided to put some more oomph in it. band might jump past Mastodon on my favorites if they keep this up.

i like Mastodon, but these guys are in a whole different league.

Never heard of this band. I JUST got home from seeing them open for Mastodon. Nice atmospheric meditative math stuff but I wish they would scream more. They did for like one verse. Mastodon has shreds :D

This band is so damn good live. Their studio output however is just on the cusp of something great and it really irks me how they just can't push it to the next level.

I've seen them perform twice, once when they were performing songs from Prehistoricisms/Valley of Smoke and once when they were doing songs from Habitual Levitations. When they were doing the songs from Prehs/VOS they were awesome! They screamed passionately and without effort and the music was on point. Even got a chance to meet all of them except Joe Lester after the show.

The second time I saw them they couldn't get the crowd invovled at all. They were playing with Cult of Luna, TesseracT, and Katatonia, but the lack of heaviness compared to the other bands came across as boring to most people, me included.

With that said, I'm glad, like everyone else that the heaviness and screams have returned. Their music sounds so much better with it. Now, if only Mastodon would wake up and do the same thing......

I'm sure they were more like the second time you saw them when I just saw them Sunday.

I've seen them a few times, once with CoL and another with Messhuggah specifically. The crowd was way more into it when they played with CoL. I think they were the headliner another time I saw them so of course they were loved.

Pretty big of fan these guys last couple albums but this didn't too much for me.
