I'm sure I'm not the only one that though that ExplosiveOranges came out with an album.

U made the article how could you make that mistake?
|
| |
I meant when I first discovered them

Album is decent if you're into this style of post hardcore. There's some really crazy rhythms and time changes but they sound like so many other bands
|
| |
it's basically like a less shittier version of Dance Gavin Dance
|
| |
But are they explosive :]
|
| |
good one

"it's basically like a less shittier version of Dance Gavin Dance"
No. It's like a less interesting version of hail the sun or stolas
|
| |
Definitely hear Hail The Sun in this yeah. It's good for what it is, but the amount of bands playing this type of post-hardcore is causing oversaturation, it just gets stale and boring.
|
| |
it's boring. and a lot more samey than dgd.
|
| |
As a standalone album I think this is fucking great if you don't compare it to similar bands on the market. It's got a bit of an early Hail the Sun vibe but it's a lot more chaotic and riffy than Wake. There's honestly a lot less bands playing this style of music compared to the metalcore or djenty progressive metal scene, amongst others.

The fall of Troy got back together, all these other bands can stop now
|
| |
I was thinking about reviewing this album, but I feel that I might just be echoing everyone else.
