Let's hope for a speedy recovery, footage like this is just plain depressing because it reminds us that even icons are mortal.

dude needs to stop bein a tard or he'll die, taper off the booze and start smokin dope again
| |
unfortunately inevitable
| |
This video is so sad damn, but good Lemmy's ok
| |
He needs to take a break and get better. Oh well, he will always be a legend.
Sad to see him this way though.
| |
Sort of seems like all the booze and smokes are catching up to him.
| |
Temporary setback, Lemmy will conquer all.
| |
He needs to become a fitness trainer
| |
Lemmy's fitness advice: Do speed instead of coke because it's better for you.
| |
Sad to see, but props to the audience for being supportive.
| |
damn that is saddening
its nice to see them support him though
| |
yeah that warmed my heart, check the Thunder and Lightning fan video too- it's brilliant
| |
It's pretty awesome to see the fans be so understanding and accepting of it.
| |
Yeah, bull shit. He quit after 4 songs in Utah the date before Denver.
| |
Well at least it's legit health issues not some diva tantrum, it sucks but still
| |
Wish him the best in recovering. It's sad seeing him not be able to carry on.
| |
Agreed, glad to see an audience that is not composed of self-centered beliefs.
| |
He probably knew before the tour was booked that he wouldn't be able to complete it and just wanted as much cash as he could grab.
God damn, I'm cynical sometimes.
| |
It may be a bad day, or it might be his illness finally catching up with him. Whatever it is, he needs to take it easy. The guy's got nothing left to prove (He did that like 30+ years ago).
| |
His lifestyle is finally catching up to him. Let's be honest, with the way he lives he's on borrowed time.

Thanks! I didn't want to have to quote myself.
| |
Truly heartbreaking
| |
There's things that I just never wanted to see, and this is one of those things. Just hope he recovers well.
| |
Lemmy not dying, he just needs to take it a little easier in his senior years.. Legend..
| |
What a huge pussy I'd be pissed if I was at that show
| |
I feel like an instrumental set would have been a good idea, unless he was in need of real medical attention.
| |
He sounds like he's dying tho
| |
Yeah, he barely got the words out. Hard to say unless you were behind the curtain when it happened.
| |
They should play like 10-15 gigs per tour leg, not 30-40 like before. Play a couple of weeks, take some time off and so on. It's very hard for him at this age and with the health issues to perform show after show for one-two months in a row.
| |
dang :
| |
can't live like a rock star forever
| |
I give props to an audience that understood. But quite a few fans will be mad. And they will have a right to be mad when they are getting only 25% of the show they paid for.
| |
Potential alternative news title: Exit stage Lemmy
| |
so sad. whatever he's such a legend it's ok
| |
It's a miracle he's been kicking this long with his drug and alcohol abuse.
| |
Seriously, the dude is 70 years old and has been drinking and smoking his entire life.
I think he has an excuse to take it easy by this point.
| |
Crowd was really classy about it
| |
@Deviant damn, how could I miss that?
| |
It's sad. He used to seem invincible.
| |
^ He's 70 years old, I'm surprised he's on good condition anyway
Lovely reaction the public had, v. supportive and understanding

"Seriously, the dude is 70 years old and has been drinking and smoking his entire life."
Wait.. Lemmy's 70? Holy shit.
