Song relys too much on the violines which in turn come around a bit gimmicky. Band is going full radio rock it seems, although song titles such as "Happy Song" and "True Friends" make me think the whole album is ment to be ironic.

Bring Meh the Horizon, guys, because it looks like football season is over. I'm all for bands and artists changing up their style, but in BMTH's case, it would seem as if they're altering too much to the point they're becoming kind of unrecognizable. But I don't know, really...

Horrible lyrics and the synth is cheesy and out of place. I liked Drown but all the other songs do nothing for me. Seems like a mash-up of Three Days Grace and Linkin Park.

I really don't get this fucking band. They spend years being joked about and being utter crap, but as soon as they do something interesting with Sempiternal they decide fuck it let's go shitty radio rock. This album is a solid 1 so far.

Reminds me of Skillet and that's not a good thing. These are some of the worst generic lyrics from Oli ever. Kind of sad. This belongs back in the early 2000s.

After Drown I hoped the new album could be decent, but everything they released since has been mediocre or worse. Predicting a 2/5 at the most

I don't think this song was too bad, but it has serious problems. It relies on my chorus way too much, and that "true friends stab you in the front" line is really stupid. Overall, it is the weakest song from the singles, but I still have hope that this album will be good.

I don't think the new songs are as bad as everyone seems to, but they don't even come close to Sempiternal, which is a shame. I'm thinking a 3 at this point. Also, it's a bit disappointing after they kept saying Drown wouldn't signify the sound of the next record and it would be heavier than Sempiternal :/

Not their best. Still shows they're retaining some metal elements though with those guitar riffs and the odd scream here and there so they're not going full rock just yet, I'd call it alt. metal for now.

Okay, so what if it's going more mainstream? I'm very much enjoying what I have heard so far, and I'm sure many will share my opinion that going mainstream isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I wanted to like this song, but it essentially followed the same structure "Throne" did. And the lyrics were mad corny, not what the band has shown they're capable of. This hasn't deterred my interest in "That's The Spirit", but I hope the other songs fare better

I can understand a band changing directions, but they have to do it well. From their earlier works to There is a Hell.../Sempiternal they did so. From those two albums to whatever these songs are? Not so much.

Bands are always derided for going "soft" even if the change is well done (Think Cave In. A lot of people hated the change they made with the Jupiter album, solely because it wasn't metalcore - not that that album isn't widely regarded as their best - it's just a musical change like that gets a lot of hate. I think with BMTH the derision is well deserved.

I must admit all I really wanted here was a Sempiternal-esque next album from them, but I'm still hopeful that the album will be alright
Drown and Throne are cool, Happy Song and True Friends are lacking but okay..
And yeah, the album title is just.. Bad.

Gotta remember these are just the singles, intended for radio. Rest of the album is, according to Alt. Press, much more varied in structure and sound. Apparently the closing track has a sax solo...looking forward to what the fuck that's gonna sound like

doesnt matter if this is just a single, any album with a song this bad on it is not going to be good. not saying there couldn't be moments or songs where they dont whore themselves out, but on the whole, this album will be garbage. i guarantee it.
