Diggin' it actually.

Maybe officially severing ties is the best thing for blink-182 and Tom. Ava is releasing their best stuff to date and blink-182 will most likely return to their roots after Neighborhoods.

^ doubt that.

Into The Night is an Alkaline Trio song, how fucking fitting
|
| |
Don't mind this at all
|
| |
Haven't checked any recent stuff from these guys, maybe I'll look into this
|
| |
It's pretty good.
|

because we all know Alkaline Trio were probably the first band ever to think of the phrase "into the night", yea
but song is pretty dece

I feel like Tom just stopped liking punk at some point. Like it was just a phase for him.
This isn't bad though. It's not good either.
|
| |
It's average. Wasn't expecting any more or any less.
|
| |
It's a good song
|

pretty cool song

"I feel like Tom just stopped liking punk at some point."
I really agree with this. Punk is all about rebellion and youthful attitude, and after 10-15 years of the same stuff, I think anyone could get sick of it. It's probably why he formed AVA in the first place.
|
| |
The main riff reminds me of QOTSA's "the lost art of keeping a secret".
|

Man, I remembered how excited I was for anything related to AvA or +44 back in the day. Now I can can less with anything spewed out by Tom. It seems like he is the only permanent member in the band at this point, and the music is just crutch for his multimedia shitstorm of movies and comics.
|
| |
I wouldn't say it's a crutch. I think it's pretty cool that he's tying in all these project together. Granted it's probably too ambitious for his own good but I like the idea.

Good song.
