Haven't heard this track until now so I'll contribute my two cents.

The track seems a little pretentious to me but I really enjoyed it otherwise.

the production is also really good on this.

Hated the song at first, but now I must say it's really infectious. Haven't listened to anything by them since Sound of Madness. Let's see how the album's gonna sound.

I'd say these guys are one of the better radio rock outfits today, songs still nothing incredible tho, might listen for the album if they put out another decent single.

I just hope the rest of the songs won't be in the vein of this single.

September 18th? That soon? Damn, better get on the ball then.

Artwork is terrible though.

Artwork is odd. Smiley face on an egg with blood coming from the mouth after being strangled by a snake? Not at all in the same vein as their past covers.

"If I had Brent's voice I wouldn't be writing shit like this"

Aint that the truth.

also love it when all these bands hit the "we're going back to our heavy roots bruh m/m/m/" phase

Neat.

Nostalgia aside, they have a consistent back catalogue of catchy, well-performed pop rock tunes, and I expect this to be nothing more than a continuation of that.

Also, CUT IIIIT

I really liked The Sound of Madness. Hope this at least holds a candle to it unlike that last piece of shite.

"actually really like his vocals for some reason"

Probably because he's got a really good voice...just a hunch.

Haha but seriously, great to hear this. Cut The Cord is pretty good, and far superior of a lead single than Bully was. That was awful. Amaryllis itself was pretty good, a little underrated I feel. But still, this is a sign of good things to come.

A lot more fun then Bully was, weird to see them this "grunged" down too compared to how they looked for the Sound Of Madness tour.

Not a great track, but already more interested in this than their previous album.

dmp3131's comment is exactly how I feel about both their last album as well as this song.
