way too much digimortal shite in these tracks
| |
truer words never spoken
| |
eh, pretty boring
| |
Well that was awesome.
| |
lol you rock linchpin
| |
Sweet
| |
I think it's awesome as well.
| |
its ok but nothing awesome really.
kinda archetype material, its good n all, but kinda boring and all samie same
| |
decent, but not great
at least the chorus was better
| |
oh look more meh
| |
protomech's chorus is way better imo
| |
the singles are all mediocre...don't think i will check the whole thing
| |
why are their album art covers almost always complete shite
save for soul of a new machine and obsolete
| |
demanufacture's artwork is great wtf
its actually the correct barcode of the release displayed on the cover
| |
ehh another boring song
| |
So many fucking complainers on this site haha. NO matter what, everyone finds something to cry about whether it's the song name, the chorus, the album cover, blah blah blah. It's Fear Factory, and in my opinion, if you like the band, this song is nothing to be disappointed about. What in the hell are you people expecting? By the way, how in the fuck is the album cover shit??? Looks pretty badass to me, and yea, Demanufacture's artwork is great as well.
| |
lol new bmth track was better
| |
i guess this darkwatch dude doesn't understand how opinions work?
| |
Jesus christ did you lift that comment right off of YouTube Darkwatch?
| |
>getting butthurt cause i enjoy tasteful album art
>especially on metal albums where most art is embarassing
tbh demanufacture's art wasnt bad, is a fav of mine musically
and ive got dinos personal fb btw
| |
can you link it to me i want to be friends with dino
| |
wait holy shit alex BEEBE is back!
| |
"So many fucking complainers on this site haha. NO matter what, everyone finds something to cry about whether it's the song name, the chorus, the album cover, blah blah blah."
That's what this site is here for. That and jizzing whenever Kendrick Lamar takes a shit or Frankie from Emmure decides to take on the English language.

Remember when Sputnik loved Brand New
| |
Remember when it was okay to post tbt reviews
| |
Maybe you guys could just elaborate on what it is about Fear Factory's new material that you don't like? Of course you can say what you want. I am just curious.
| |
Go watch a live video of Shock performed during the 90s. If you don't notice the quality difference between that and this I can't take you seriously.
| |
All these new songs sound kinda the same. Mechanize and their old material at least sounded different in terms of feel from song to song
| |
Reminds me of Obsolete era FF.
| |
@madbutcher
thats only because you heard them the first time you moron
| |
this thread went to shit real fast
| |
@Flug what do you even mean? That's a really poorly phrased statement.
| |
thats because i still kinda suck at english
| |
It's definitely a better album than The Industrialist. After one listen, it reminds me of a cross between Mechanize and Digimortal (Without the nu-metal influence). They're still not breaking any new boundaries, but it's at least stepping outside the comfort zone a little.
| |
Haha fair enough. I guess they're a long way through their career by this point and not all the songs are out so I don't know whether the whole album will sound the same and even if it does it's kinda to be expected.
| |
Each song kind of has its own sound and the twist this time around is the amount of electronics and how catchy they are. This is probably their most melodic album thanks to the electronics.
| |
That's good, especially after the snoozefest that was The Industrialist
| |
I agree.
| |
Nothing will ever beat Demanufacture and Obsolete for me, but that didn't stop Archetype and Mechanize from being great albums. I don't really see why so many people aren't big on their newer singles, I think they're pretty great standard FF material.
| |
And Willie, where did you hear this album? I can't find it anywhere online.
| |
From the label.
| |
willie keeping it fresh from the paper catalog like its 1990
| |
I predict this will be at least a 3
| |
I'm going 3.5. I have a soft spot for Fear Factory and this sounds pretty cool so far, even if they suck live now.
| |
What does that even mean???
| |
Definitely a 4.5
| |
Easily the best single released so far, dig this one.
| |
I like how it goes dundundun dun dun dun dundundundun dun dun dundun
| |
boring as fuck
| |
"I like how it goes dundundun dun dun dun dundundundun dun dun dundun"
that was the best part of the song
| |
Bitches.
| |
Hoping for a rev Willie dude.
| |
There will definitely be one.
| |
Sweeeee
| |
Hopefully by Tuesday.
| |
Nice dude, really curious to hear this record and here some (hopefully) positive thoughts on it!
| |
these guys bore me to death
| |
sick, reminds me of demanufacture
| |
How come they're releasing so many singles so quickly ?
| |
"Each song kind of has its own sound and the twist this time around is the amount of electronics and how catchy they are. This is probably their most melodic album thanks to the electronics."
This is something I've wanted them to do since Digimortal.
| |
Damn, I was hoping to review this Willie
| |
Yep, definitely a Fear Factory song
| |
