Sounds like a teaser for the album. Regardless, I'm hyped.
|
| |
It's... Okay.
|
| |
wow what happened to this band they used to be a whole lotta meh now I'm really diggin them
|
| |
Decent track.
Sounds nothing like Renacer tho.
|
| |
Pretty good. I loved Renacer, so I'm looking forward to this. Always had a soft spot for this band, but they can definitely disappoint, so fingers crossed they do something worth while.
|
| |
I'm not too crazy about this track. Hope I'll like the rest of the album better.
|
| |
Wasn't expecting this but it's good. I'm sure the rest of the album won't be as poppy. I want some more songs like Glass
|
| |
God damn I love this... I knew Buddy said the new record would be heavy but fuuuuck. color me excited.
|
| |
It wont even let me listen to it so whatever.

@tresm87- You dig the new FFTL, but not this...?
|
| |
Youre digging the new FFTL but this is awful? Well huh.
|
| |
Well Veldin beat me to it. I love the new FFTL but it sounds like its from 2004 and is pretty bad objectively tbh
|
| |
So glad they kept the heavy sound from Renacer and are pushing it even further on this new record.
|
| |
Why does this article link to another article that has the link to the stream?
get the fuck out of here.
|
| |
ohhhhh is that why??
|
| |
sort of sounds like the first song from "songs for the deaf"
|
| |
Decent song. Still looking forward to the new record.
|
| |
New album? I'll have to tell my younger brother later - he's always been insanely into these guys, to the point where this and Goldhouse/Breathe Electric (of all artists) are basically the only things he listens to at the moment. He's not quite as "into" music as any of us here, but it's nice to see him find a band that he really can get into and listen to a lot
|
| |
good for him. for people who arent super into music SF is a good outlet to start with. superficial enough to be casually enjoyable but deep enough to provide depth for a less serious music listener
|
| |
Pretty sure they have an old Poison the Well member playing for them now.
|
| |
Renacer was cool, but this sounds trite in comparison
|
| |
Sounds great.
Saw them a few weeks ago in Detroit supporting Bayside and they flat out killed it. I've seen a bunch of youtubes of buddy sounding horrible live and didn't have my hopes up. I was blown away at how much he's improved since the LINAWR and The Fire years. Johnny Craig voice? Nope. Pure emotion and still on key? Yup. The screams are album-perfect, so this heavier direction really suits his strengths.
When they finished their set the crowd was chanting one more song for like 10 minutes. I've never seen that happen for a non-headliner. Excited to see them again at warp tour this summer.
|
| |
I really like this one, and am super excited to listen to the rest of the album. Video is really dark.
|
| |
Meh, to both the song and video.
|
| |
Terrible. It sucks that these guys turned into A Static Lullaby.
|
| |
terribad
|
| |
old senses fail is so much better imo
|
| |
Senses Fail is the shit as in they are fucking awesome. It's undeniable. This is all of your opinion.
|
| |
this is not good
|
| |
You are right snake it's great
|
| |
no it's actually very average
|
| |
It's okay, I hope the rest of the album is more interesting though.
|
| |
its kinda average. I like the band making a solid effort to further the sound from 'Renacer' though.
|
| |
All kidding aside this does seem more a teaser/statement than a good single even if it represents the album well. Have high hopes for Senses Fail as always. The other stuff they've done since Renacer has all been at least good
|

Yikes, this is really bad. After Renacer and this, sorry Buddy, you lost me.
Video was cool though.
|
| |
that dumbass fucking link fuck you
|
| |
"Yikes, this is really bad. After Renacer and this, sorry Buddy, you lost me."
except Buddy spends the entirety of Renacer being a fucking beast lol what album were you listening to?
|
| |
LOOK IN THE BASEMENT
OF YERR HEART
THERE IS A LIGHT THAT JUST WENT DARK
LOOK THROUGH THE WRECKAGE
TO FIND REVERIE
THERE IS A PATH THAT WE ALL MUST SEE
UHHHH
|
| |
Renacer was cool, this ain't.
|
| |
"except Buddy spends the entirety of Renacer being a fucking beast lol what album were you listening to?"
I was probably listening to a hardcore band that actually knows what they're doing instead. "The Path" was pretty sweet though.
|
| |
"I was probably listening to a hardcore band that actually knows what they're doing instead."
too harsh bro
|
| |
No one was especially stoked on the first track or two they released from renacer. I imagine this'll be the same way. Once the whole albums drops, people will warm to the sound.
|
| |
"too harsh bro"
A band can't just completely change genres overnight and not expect there to be some growing pains.
|
| |
Eh, opinions. I'm actually glad they changed their sound I think it will further the longevity of the band, give them some new life. I also wasn't real crazy about The Fire and Renacer has been my favorite album since Still Searching so
|
| |
Yeah most of The Fire made it apparent that their sound had started to get stale. I really miss the tasty guitar leads like on Calling All Cars.
|
| |
Me too, SS will most likely always be my favorite, so many good songs
