Ready, Set, Fall! split

2015-03-02 by Toondude | 14 Comments
Italian metalcore band Ready, Set, Fall! have just announced that they have officially disbanded. The band later released a statement on Facebook:

After five years as a band, where we played beautiful shows, and where we've had the luck to meet people that we won't forget easily and bands that have accompanied us on this path, we announce that from this day Ready, Set, Fall will not continue its journey. The decision was unanimous and in full respect of each band member. We take this opportunity to thank again all of you, from the first that followed us with The Temple Is Me to the last via Deceiving Lights and the release of Memento. We feel that we have given you something of our own, and this is the greatest gift that you all could give to us!!
RSF , with love.

Nah, should be some kind of mistake. I thought title suggests split album with another band(s), not break up. Young talented band, they should not do that.

Bland and not adding anything to the scene.

They have always been quite 'foreign' here in Italy, they have never opened to someone big or participated to the (growing) core subscene we have in these years. 'We' have now even a core festival called 'Dissonance' but they have never been a part of anything related neither to it. I don't know who represented them as PR agency etc. but I've never seen them mentioned either on a -core italian website or in -core festivals and such.

Dang... I remember finding Skyscrapers on blankTV when I was a sophomore in high school. Even if their debut was a lacking, I really want to see them succeed. I hope at least some of them go on to other projects.
