Kamelot unveil new album

American power metal band Kamelot has now officially released the artwork and release date of their long awaited upcoming album, Haven, which will be the second release featuring their newest vocalist, Tommy Karevik.

The 13 track album is set to be released on May 5th in North America (May 8th for the rest of the world) and will feature three guest artists. Allissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), Troy Donockley (Nightwish), and Charlotte Wessels (Delain). There will also be a limited edition exclusive CD containing orchestral and acoustic versions of certain songs and an instrumental of the whole album.

Kamelot is also planning a tour for the album as well, starting in North America in Baltimore, MD on April 27th.

Curious to hear what Tommy Karevik can do in this band now that he had some time to settle in. Hopefully he won't be forced too much to imitate Roy Khan anymore.
