his music's so bland now. how did he fall off so hard?

I mean this is for Fifty Shades of Grey AKA Twilight fanfiction. He has no reason to turn in anything spectacular for the soundtrack to this movie. Still a decent song IMO
| |
fish, do you think Often is bland? I personally love that track.
| |
yes. not as much as this though
| |
Yeh, I agree, the song is meh.
I can see it going well with the film tho...
| |
there's a 50 Shades of Grey movie lol
| |
lol.
| |
this guy has gotten so terrible now
| |
Still a good song, it's not like a 50 Shades of Grey contribution was ever going to be his best work anyway.
| |
He was probably more concerned about maximizing the royalties he could bargain for considering this is a big budget film.
I think attributing a song he is releasing for a movie everyone is anticipating to be a crappy guilty pleasure to his music in general isn't useful.
| |
yeah but it's not like this is interesting even outside the context of his own music. this is no skyfall by adele
| |
just awful
| |
meh
| |
Yeah, well, a Twilight contribution turned out to be Paramore's best song. Just saying.
| |
lol good point
| |
he's always been pretty meh, always thought he was very over rated on this site. Echos is great tho
| |
In terms of the trilogy, I found 'Echoes of Silence' to be his weakest tape.
| |
it's telling that the best thing this guy's turned in since Echoes of Silence was a verse on an Ariana Grande song and that song was pretty bad too
| |
Twenty Eight, Here Comes The Sun, Professional, Belong To The World, Tears In The Rain, Love In The Sky, all better than that song
| |
did not expect this to be such a hit
| |
what a joke
| |
Calling a song from the 50 Shades soundtrack "earned it" is pretty funny though.
| |
In retrospect, I like the song a lot better then when I first heard it.
It's a bit of weird how this song has marked the Second Coming of The Weeknd. Like really?
