Everything about this band is average, except for the vocals which are slightly below average because they're emotionless. I've not bothered listening to the first two albums, but from what I've heard of the third one, it's not offensively bad, just kinda bleh.

The vocals and guitarist are both good imo. Drummer is awful and bass is pointless.

a7x had two awesome albums with a shit discog otherwise. Bvb has one 3 album, a piece of shit, and a meh album. A7x > bvb.

Yeah, I was just meaning more so how avenged sevenfold got softer. You can't tell me that this doesn't sound similar to a never avenged sevenfold ballad. At least a little bit.

of course it does. This song and Crimson days are pretty much the same thing. I love Seize The Day by a7x to death but the rest of their ballads are bad.

I'm hoping they let the drummer off the leash for the next album. Hail was so boring.

Their drumming has sucked ass since The Rev died.

rev was a hell of a drummer. and from what I hear they were quite mean to the new dude, like why recruit a tech metal drummer and then tell him to play simple stuff (nothing wrong with simple at all).

Simple doesn't mean painfully basic. Lars ulrich (meallica) style of drumming is simple, but it still fits the music. The drumming on HttK is just pathetic.
