Said frontman Corey Taylor:
"The UK has always been very special for us. In a lot of ways, it's where this insanity began. So, for this tour,
we decided to try and hit as many places as we could - not only England, but Scotland and Wales as well.
Technically Ireland is Europe, but we're going there too. We're coming back for the people who started this for us
– that would be you. Prepare yourselves. Hell is coming".
The tour will be the first they have performed with drummer Jay Weinberg and bassist Alessandro Venturella,
who will be replacing Joey Jordison and the deceased Paul Gray respectively.
In addition, Taylor has alluded in the past to the possibility of the band's self-organized festival "Knotfest" coming
to the UK in the near-future.
The aforementioned LP, Slipknot's first in six years, is set to drop this coming Monday, although various leaks
have already allowed many fans to hear the full record weeks in advance.
Meanwhile, Slipknot's supporting act, Korn, will be performing their self-titled debut album in its entirety at each of
the shows, in commemoration of its 20th anniversary.

I've never listened to Korn. But 20th anniversary of their self titled makes me feel old as fuck. And I'd totally see Slipknot.
| | | So it's confirmed that those two are the new members?
| | | Not by the band themselves, but it's pretty much been edged is stone by most fans at this point.
