yeah, everything prior to the mountain was ok, very DT worship. The Mountain was so immense though!

Hm, actually Aquarius wasn't that DT inspired. It was quite different. Of course it had lengthy structures and solos over solos, but does this come out as a DT worship? I mean, ok, it's not only DT out there doing it.

Aquarius was pretty much a dream theater album with a different band name

Really? Ha, I would much more say that with Visions rather than Aquarius. Anyway. From all three, I consider Visions to be their weakest.

I'd say both and yes Visions is their weakest but I actually haven't even listened to The Mountain yet so I don't know how they stack up

Wow, you really need to listen to the Mountain. For a quick glance of the album check either Cockroach King or Falling Back To Earth. They sum it up pretty well.
Also, how is their name pronounced? Is it like the German Hakn (mean. Hook) or is it a made upo word and is pronounced as Heiken?

I know, I've had it on my computer since it came out but ¯_(ツ)_/¯

they pronounce it like the word bacon

"Also, how is their name pronounced?"

On their facebook page it says:

Haken... as in 'Taken'. Or 'Taken 2'. Or anything starring Liam Neeson.

If that answers your question

Ha, nice. Okay, I had a disagreement with a friend and he insisted it was Haken and I thought it was german so I was going with Hakn. Anyway, now he has any right to make fun of my stubborness.

Band rules, gonna be the next big prog metal band I'd say.

IMO, each album has been better than the last. Hopefully will be seeing em in late October
