Album's magnificent and a step up from Atma.

I don't think it's quite as good as Atma, but to each his own.
| |
A lot better than Atma.
| |

Quite good on first listen. Will def jam it more. Those pitchfork stream platform is annoying as fuck
| |
Gonna jam later, hype hype hype
| |
All over this,

Thought this came out a while ago. Been listening to this for about a week now. This album definitely needs some time to sink in, but when it does, it's really good. At first I didn't think this was better than Atma but after multiple listens it's way better. The last two tracks inparticular blow everything they did on Atma out of the water.

| |
def better than atma

Don't know why but whenever I see this band's name the first thing that comes to mind is "Yob for a Cowboy" (a play on the name of that deathcore / tech. death band).
| |
Sweet. Will give it a spin soon but I agree with Lalchimiste, the pitchfork streamming platform can get on my nerves too
| |
listened to it about 5ish times through (working on my 6th). i like it more than i liked Atma at this stage, but the way Atma's grown over the years this one isn't quite there yet...
| |
obv bro it's not there yet
| |
of course not, none of their albums are below a 4 for me and all were growers
| |
a couple were showers also
| |
god it's a crazy album
| |
The album is great, but there's no Prepare The Ground . And you really have to be in the mood for it, the tracks are so long.
| |
Very true

Surprisingly, the first time I heard these guys was when they released The Unreal Never Lived and that was instant gratification. Seriously still one of the best sludge albums ever.
