Weezer delay new album

2014-08-23 by VaxXi | 57 Comments
Weezer's upcoming studio album Everything Will Be Alright In The End has been delayed until October 8th due to the album's recording lasting longer than expected. According to the group's Facebook page the album has been finished, but because of it
being finished later than expected the label has pushed its release date back.

As stated on their Facebook page:

Hi everyone - Today we are pumped to share with you the good news that the recording
sessions for EWBAITE are finished, and finished on time as planned. However, we've
unfortunately learned some additional news that's not so cool - We have to release EWBAITE one week later than planned, on Oct 7. This is a bummer and we really hate to make our fans wait longer. We worked very hard to finish the album on time for you, so we're really sorry about this and hope you understand.

Everyone who has pre-ordered the album will be given a exclusive track from the
album on September 30th along with the full album when it is released. The band has also
released the album's tracklist which is as follows:

1. Ain't Got Nobody
2. Back To The Shack
3. Eulogy For A Rock Band
4. Lonely Girl
5. I've Had It Up To Here
6. The British Are Coming
7. Da Vinci
8. Go Away
9. Cleopatra
10. Foolish Father
11. The Futurescope Trilogy:
a. The Waste Land
b. Anonymous
c. Return To Ithaca

Wait, I thought that one song from the teaser was called "My Mystery" or something. I must be stupid. That one sounded pretty good, though.

Can we pretend that Weezer's last album was Maladroit and that they broke up forever after that? No? Okay, I'm not really a Weezer fan anyway.

I abandoned them after 'Pinkerton' (maybe I was one in a million back then to deeply love it...and I still do. But every-fucking-one trashed that album back in the day). Weezer died in fucking 1997 for me, anyways...after two brilliant noise pop gems. Aloha

I think that's just Pinkerton. You also forgot to include the word "entitled."
