this sounds nice though; have they been doing more electronic-based music for a while now? only tracks I've heard from them are "Rough Landing Holly" and "Breathing", which were total jams on the Burnout 3 soundtrack

That was unusually bland. Hope this isn't an indicator of the overall sound of the album.

Loving the intensity at the end. I wasn't overwhelmed by this song - definitely more cookie-cutter than I had hoped - but if the rest of the album brings the riffs and emotion of the last minute of this track, then there's no doubt it will be amazing.

It's not quite as strong as their past lead singles but it's a completely different kind of song so there really isn't much use comparing. That being said, it's decent, it sounds like a Yellowcard song still. Not really much of a disappointment.

GUYS! Yellowcard did mention that Lift A Sail will not be typical YC pop-punk but rather a Rock-N-Roll and more diverse rock album with one or two slow, emotional songs. One Bedroom was meant to be one of the slower songs, and honestly I didn't like it at first but if you keep listening to it 3-4 times you'll actually love the melodies and the words of this song! And believe me the rest of this record is brilliant in its own way!

According to Jason Tate, this version is a radio edit of the actual song. It's missing over 40 seconds, or about 1/4 of the song.

I love these guys but this is just... ugh. It's like all they got out of Southern Air was that we wanted more of Here I Am Alive. Gets better towards the end so hopefully the non radio-edit version has something sweet going on at the end.

The beginning of this reminds me a little of the beat in 'Magic' by Coldplay.

It was okay. Is it just me or does this have a OneRepublic vibe to it? Even the album artwork is kind of reminiscent of OR's last album. As for the song, kind of more pop than punk to it. Here's to hoping the rest of the album will be significantly better.

This was really lame until around the end. Then it was really awesome. So.....I guess I'm indifferent towards this track.

Song is kinda shit until the end, reminds me of Hang You Up, so hopefully it'll be like that and be the lone shitheap among some solid songs

song's okay. end slays.

their lead singles are usually among the weakest tracks on the album so yeah

the clip they released in their fall tour announcement video sounds spectacular so i'm hyped.

Great song, through and through. Helps that I liked "Hang You Up" and I've only gotten into this band recently, so I'm far from tired of them. Even the more "cookie cutter" stuff.

songs a grower, and it's pretty good. no doubt this will ruin the sputnik streak of yellowcard albums above 3.5+ though.

met them at warped and told them my favorite album was paper walls, Ryan personally told me i would dig this. hope they pull through.

Like Transmission Home a lot more than One Bedroom. It's different for them but it works. I'm glad they're not going completely for a poppy electronically influenced sound
