Thanks to whoever shared this on facebook and made me aware
|
| |
I will devour this.
|
| |
yes yes yes aaron
|
| |
The clip sounds Lights And Sounds-ish...
|
| |
They stated that this record would be in the vein of L&S
|
| |
Ewww. Probably still dece at least.
|
| |
As soon as I saw the video I came on here to post the news but it was already here. That was fast.
|
| |
yay
|
| |
Regency Ballroom was great the two times I went (Blue October and Thrice), but it's not worth traveling 2+ hours to see them, especially trying to navigate downtown SF. I wish they'd just come to Sacramento
|
| |
Fantastic.
|
| |
also I am 100% going to this tour! MMF is great live
|
| |
Will be attending this tour to see Emarosa
|
| |
Great news! I just saw these guys at warped tour and heard songs off of southern air for the first time - no need to say i've been eating that shit up the last few days.
|
| |
post a song damnit
|
| |
Will be attending this tour to see Emarosa [2]
|
| |
hope this is more like paper walls and less like lights and sounds
|
| |
Sweet hope they post a song soon.
|
| |
You're welcome Sowing ;)
|
| |
hope this is more like northern air
|
| |
Their last two didn't do much for me but Lights and Sounds is still my favourite. I love the more mature tone of that record so I might check this out
|
| |
"hope this is more like paper walls and less like lights and sounds" [2]
that album had so many of their best tracks. a few lame ones but so many highlights. Paper Walls, The Takedown, You And Me And One Spotlight...
|
| |
That album definitely ruled.
|
| |
Oh and check this out - album art and track list:

No sense in making another news story.
|
| |
artwork rules
|
| |
Am I the only one now secretly hoping this is a concept album or something crazy, the titles and artwork seem pretty odd for a usual yellowcard album. or maybe not, fuck if I know.
|
| |
They said it is not a concept album in interviews
|
| |
I don't listen to this band but I am genuinely surprised the news article isn't titled something stupid as fuck like "Yellowcard lift sails"
|
| |
Coo coo
|
| |
Sowing's better than that.
|
| |
I'm actually the main culprit when it comes to lame puns
Well me, and Davey
|
| |
they're the same person
|
| |
Just typing this to check which of my Sowing or Davey logins this comment comes under.
|
| |
Last two records rocked.
|
| |
I'll probably give this a listen, last record was solid
|
| |
Honestly all their albums have been good starting with One for the Kids.
|
| |
Love this band for the feels
|
| |
Every time they release an album (from Ocean Ave on, at least) it's in line with a major event in my life. I think it's half the reason I love them so much.
Ocean Avenue: first girlfriend
Lights and Sounds: graduating high school
Paper Walls: freshman year of college, first time living away from parents
When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes: first real "adult" job, major feels in relation to yet another girl
Southern Air: literally came out the week that I started dating the girl I'd eventually marry, my current fiancee
I have no idea if Lift a Sail will follow suit, but had it come out 9-10 months later it would have coincided with my actual wedding : )
|
| |
for me it's:
Ocean Avenue: mid secondary school summer hols
Lights and Sounds: holidays with my then girlfriend
Paper Walls: College
When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes: First year of medicine, death of a family member
Southern Air: Hitting the wards for the first time as a student
|
| |
and the new album drops as I start my career :]
|
| |
My turn:
Ocean Avenue: I stopped using diapers
Lights and Sounds: I went to school
Paper Walls: I had happiness in my life
When You're Through Thinking: Moved and started middle school
Southern Air: I joined Sputnik.
