Awesome I'm fucking stoked!
And holy shit the amount of guest guitarists.
Digging: Of Virtue - Salvation
so stoked. Guest solos from chelsea grin? really?
Chelsea Grin? Fuck that shit.
Jason Richardson is a pretty great guitarist. Chelsea Grin is pretty bad, though.
This sounds awesome. And watch it not be Jason Richardson guesting but the unknown guitarist in CG lol
"The album will feature guest solos from numerous guitarists from bands in the progressive metal scene"
Come on now. Still stoked to hear it, I'm seeing them with Monuments and Villains in September. Should be a fantastic show
Great! Can't wait to hear it!
Gonna be way better than the band Muse
lol i knew people were gonna comment on the chelsea grin thing
chelsea grin is about as far from prog metal as it gets, but I still included them because jason richardson is heavily involved in the progressive metal world
Digging: Between the Buried and Me - Coma Ecliptic
probably seeing them with Intervals and The Contortionist they dont seem too bad
So glad to see I Am Abomination making an appearance.
Alright, everyone cool your jets. Jason Richardson was previous of Born of Osiris and did most of the lead work on The Discovery, their best album in my opinion.
Also this sounds so poppy and catchy I like it
hard to not be better than Muse
Digging: Suis La Lune - Distance/Closure
I don't think Jason Richardson did anything for The Discovery. I thought it was all Lee because Jason came in after the album was done.
Regardless of whether he was the reason the discovery was good, he's a damn good guitarist for this sort of thing
I don't even like his solo work at all, bleh
Also Snauze I would have been surprised if he didn't, because he was the producer =p that should make this sounds even more interesting, he was the perfect choice for their sound
^ yeah I agree. Just glad IAA is getting some exposure again
Wow I am really liking this. Kinda wish there were vocals though
I can't wait to just drive and jam the fuck out of this album
