2014-07-21 by Deviant STAFF | 21 Comments
The duo of Ishmael Butler, formerly Butterfly of 1990s outfit Digable Planets, and Tendai ‘Baba’ Maraire, collectively known as Shabazz Palaces are now streaming
their sophomore LP, Lese Majesty, ahead of its July 29th release date.

The group's label Sub Pop have described the album as: "reveries sent to Palaceer Lazaro [Ishmael] and Fly Guy ‘Dai [Tendai] in the year of gun beat battles
in excess; in a succession of days, whilst walking in dreams and in varied transcendental states
". So you know, just the usual then...

Sub-Pop hip-hop needs to do a better job of keeping their music under wraps both this and clipping were leaked months ahead of release.

It's funny that you guys think you can accurately compare an album like this to its predecessor after, ehhh, maybe ten minutes of having heard it
