Johnny Winter passes away

2014-07-17 by R6Rider | 32 Comments
Legendary American blues guitarist Johnny Winter has passed away at the age of 70.

Johnny was considered by many to be a true blues/rock icon and rightfully so.

During his 5 decade career he has released over 15 albums, toured the world, and has worked with other blues icons such as Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Eric Clapton and Joe
Perry to name a few.

When asked what kind of legacy he would like to leave behind, he simply stated: "I just hope I'm remembered as a good blues musician."

R.I.P. Amazing he lived this long with the lifestyle he lead. But a true blues master nonetheless. 'Memory Pain' is a kickass song
