Dammit I don't get Dillinger, had a small grain of hope for GY!BE opening since they did for the last NIN tour
OH FUCK IM SEEING TDEP WITH SOUNDGARDEN AND NIN OMGOMGOMG
Digging: Converge - You Fail Me (Redux)
no shit, but they played for NIN last year
Should I go to new jersey just to see TDEP open for them?
This news format is gross.
I was bummed when Death Grips broke up. Then when I first saw this on Facebook I almost jumped out of my chair in excitement. Then I realized DEP weren't playing the Michigan date.
Oneohtrix Point Never is too good for this tbh
feel bad for him
Oneohtrix Point Never would be fucking awesome to see.
Digging: Arca - Entranas
Marius Budu: I have to say that COLD CAVE was a very disappointing choice for an opening act. I saw you guys in Copenhagen and their act was sub-par (to be polite about it). You guys are a creative force to be reckoned with and having someone like that open for you kind of lowers the bar.
Just my two cents...
Your set was absolutely pure fucking magic (as always) and I love the new album.

Dillinger is in my top 5 bands yet i have to see a Joy Division ripoff instead
I don't want to go to Wantagh even though it's closer because TDEP won't be there.
This is even better. Fuck death grips.
The Dillinger Escape Plan opening for Soundgarden?
Digging: Gates - Parallel Lives
I feel like these are just as out of place, except for TDEP.
Dillinger instead of death grips.
I feel like these are just as out of place, except for TDEP.No, TDEP are totally out of place too. Death Grips and NIN kind of works, although they would leave a lot of Soundgarden fans confused. Dillinger are gonna leave a lot of people cold just by having harsh vocals as much as anything.
There's more fan overlap though.
much better openers. Excited to see what Oneohtrix Point Never is all about
Digging: PJ Harvey - Let England Shake
Not my best choice of words, but I can't deal with "heroes" and "veterans" is overdone. They're the closest thing to superstars that that genre has.
my friend sold his tickets immediately after Death Grips dropped off. turns out, he loves Dillinger even more than Death Grips. sucks
Super bummed it's not TDEP... Just two days too late...
Digging: Frank Ocean - Blonde
damn, that sucks
Pretty sure this lineup is fantastic and makes up for the no DG.
