Decapitated announce new album 2014-07-09 by tempest-- | 26 Comments | Blood Mantra is the upcoming sixth full length album by Polish death metal band Decapitated, slated for release September 26 via Nuclear Blast.
The album was recorded at Hertz Studio in Bialystok, Poland, under the direction of Wojtek and Slawek Wiesawski.
Guitarist Waclaw "Vogg" Kieltyka comments:
"Extreme and groovy - I think that's the best way to describe our new album. This time we feel that we have something totally crushing and huge.
"Blood Mantra" is the most heavy and mature album we have ever done in our career. I cannot wait to start playing these songs live because the riffs are so deep and powerful."
The artwork of Blood Mantra was created by Łukasz Jaszak, who also did the cover of Decapitated's 2011 record, Carnival Is Forever.

The "Covan Wake the Fuck Up" facebook page seems to indicate that he's still in a coma. Even if he were to recover from that, I'm sure it would take quite a bit for him to recover enough to rejoin the band. Not like he would have trouble finding another group, though.

though, i am interested in how this album will sound. the new lux occulta didn't really present any vogg wizardry, so hopefully this'll pick up the slack. still don't know why they insist on shitty vocalists
