Upon A Burning Body detail new album

2014-07-03 by Jaime Silva | 37 Comments
American deathcore band Upon A Burning Body have announced a brand new album The World is My Enemy Now which is slated for release on August 12th via Sumerian Records. The band have also released two songs from the new album, titled 'Red Razor Wrists' and 'Scars'.

The announcement and release of these tracks comes off the heels of a publicity stunt the band pulled yesterday in which they made fans believe that frontman Danny Leal had
gone missing.

You can preorder the album here:

The melody in the chorus for scars had promise but they quickly dashed that away.

Their whole gangster image was an idea of the label. I just think they had a good producer for their debut because anything released after that is total shit.

Awful songs, weird that they actually showed promise on their first album. Everything that followed is garbage. And that stunt was so shitty, what a pathetic way to grab at attention.

They desperately want to add clean vocals it seems, they keep setting up with the choruses but all they do is that yelling shit with cleans in the background.
