Skyclad's drummer is my lecturer/former drum tutor. He absolutely killed it as always!

I was lucky enough to go and it was just an incredible festival. Carcass, Emperor and Behemoth were all great, and what else could be expected of Iron Maiden but brilliance?

Digging: Panopticon - Panopticon

I'm four songs into the Therapy? set, awesome stuff!

Fair play to them, I would expect them to have a real battle to be accepted at something like Hellfest, but I suppose it's less of an extreme metal line-up these days.

Cheers for sharing.

EDIT: 'Died laughing' dedicated to Kurt Cobain & Dimebag Darrell, nice touch.

I was in the moshpits at the Empror show :D

Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, Unida and Black Tusk were also amazing, such a good lineup this year.
