very crank yankers
This was new over a week ago.
Really good song though, this album is super underrated. Nobody seems to talk about it anymore but I still jam it all the time.
Best TDWP album for sure, but it had nothing really new to offer, that's why
Also Hranica's screams
best TDWP album
haha oh man
still jamming Plagues in your car, Treb?
a few weeks ago yeah
Hranica's high screams are so bad on this album. The majority of 8:18 is solid work but every time he hits those highs I cringe...
His highs have pretty much sounded like that ever since WRAABB :/
I remember when I used to be super into these guys. they aren't bad though
Best band evah
Digging: Saltillo - Ganglion
I remember when hranica was one of the absolute best in the genre. I still like his scream for uniqueness but it is sometimes grating for sure.
i dont really like it
One of the last truly good "metalcore" acts although it's the juns they brought in Plagues that kinda perverted my favorite genre. Pun entirely intentional.
Digging: Death - Individual Thought Patterns
Pradas best album, but that isn't saying much
Best song off the album. Band sucks.
Zombie EP was dope.
Best TWDP album
*states opinions about band/past albums/maybe song*
I still can't make up my mind on which album is their best. Dead Throne was very solid but the production was so high that it made the album sound very simple. With Roots... Had very high production but it had to be because the whole album was an experimentation album, combining their insane synthesizer sound with a more mechanical instrumentation, they needed a very high production to pull it off. As in Dead Throne, they stripped most of the random synths and tried to aim for the most metalcore album as possible. 8:18 was a huge success with using the perfect production quality. Everything flows so well and synths and production plays hand and hand to make a really gloomy and delightful album.
You've got the formula to sputnik figured out.
this sucks. their past albums suck. this band in general sucks.
Digging: The Walkmen - You & Me
This album was decent for me but I really really enjoyed Dead Throne more. Personally, I think Zombie EP was their best work which is a shame that they didn't make it a whole album. That EP fucking slays.
This video coming up though does make me want to try it again. Haven't given it a spin in about a 6 months or so...maybe it'll be better with a fresh listen.
