wow, awful song
i love it
Chunky. I love Volumes, so I'll love anything they put out.
Digging: Statues - Together We're Alone
Sweet jam, coul be sweeter though.
sick of djent but this is alright.
Digging: Lakota De Kai - Big Dad Wolf
Digging: The Last Ten Seconds of Life - Soulless Hymns
don't really understand what there is to like about this. sounds like most boring thing ever to me, but guess its just not my style
Digging: Hellions - Indian Summer
Kinda boring. Always thought these guys were better when they focused on melody. I'll give their full length a listen, cause Via was a pretty okay album, but this wasn't impressive.
Hmmmmm 2.5/5, groovy but generic.
Digging: Scholastic Deth - Final Examiner
Hope they bring some melody once again, indeed
Song is really meh. I hope the sound of Vahle is more representative of the record as a whole. Always thought these guys were better when they focused on melody.
Band sucks. They're awful live. 90% of their set was them yelling "get the fuck up!" or "wake up". Dudes, if the crowd doesn't like you, let it go.
When I saw them they were fantastic.
Fuck anybody who isn't standing at the back with their arms crossed.
the worst kind of generic djent.
ugh and this is the same band that made Egde of the Earth and Intake
Band sucks. They're awful live. 90% of their set was them yelling "get the fuck up!" or "wake

lol'd hard. that video of "threw it on the ground" comes to mind. don't tell me when to wake up! i'm an adult
Yeah when I saw them they spent half the set trying to get the crowd to do things when it was obvious they weren't into it. Other then that they were decent except Edge of The Earth is so cringe worthy because they use a recording for the clean vocals.
Painfully generic, hopefully this is one of weaker songs otherwise this album is looking like a 2.
Not great, but still not bad. I wasn't a fan of via at all at first either, but I grew to appreciate it a lot more the more I listened to it. Became one of my favorite albums.
And these dudes absolutely SLAY live. They give off such an energetic atmosphere it's great.
Is it just me or do Michael's vocals get higher with every album? lol
This band is so god damn boring. I haven't liked anything they've released previously and this is no different.
This was okay for djent anyway. They're really aggressive with the vocal tandem here which is nice. They'll never do better than Edge Of The Earth though
"I love Volumes, so I'll love anything they put out."
Jesus Christ this is fucking awful. I remember their first ep was actually alright but this is just garbage. Oh, and Betray is being an idiot again. Nothing new
Must have been only faggots like you in the crowd then
ugh, people who use the word "faggots" tend to not be quality people.
Man this sucks...Need more songs like Edge of the Earth
rules. i want that flag in the pre-orders
Fuck anybody who isn't standing at the back with their arms crossed.
This bands hates doing cleans live for some reason whys that?
Probably because they can't do them live -_-
they're probably gona have to start cuz they sound pretty awesome on the new record from the teaser
nothing going on in this song. Pretty disappointed.
they write decent grooves but omg its like they purposely write the stupidest lyrics they can think of
Literally same opening riff as The Contortionist's "Feedback Loop"
Digging: Francis Harris - Minutes of Sleep
^noticed that as well, Feedback Loops also a much better song
still think its cool, excellent vocals awful lyrics
yeah this is not even slightly original but that isn't what anyone listens to Volumes for. i really enjoyed what i heard of this song, catchy
I've always held that Volumes isn't technically speaking "good", but just mostly catchy breakdowns packaged in a band that seems to come around and play more live shows than pretty much anyone else, at least around here. they're at least fun to jump around to
"they write decent grooves but omg its like they purposely write the stupidest lyrics they can think of"
They're going for the scenecore audience so that's basically as good as it's gonna get
I always thought volumes lyrics were pretty cool. they are kinda lame in this song tho
yeah they write some okay lyrics, these aren't great
painfully generic, ugh most of these "djent" bands are rly terrible.
Digging: Viet Cong - Viet Cong
dudes in the band are maaaad chill
I want to like this but it's actually just chug rhythms all the way through.
this song truly is teh junz
