Maroon 5 Announce New Album

2014-05-19 by AaronBatt | 42 Comments
Pop/rock group Maroon 5 have announced their signing to Interscope Records, along with their fifth studio album. "V" will be released
on September 2nd. Keyboardist Jesse Carmichael makes his return to Maroon 5 after sitting out the recording sessions for 2012's
"Overexposed." "V" is produced by all the usual suspects, including Ryan Tedder, Max Martin, and Benny Blanco.

I hope they won't forget the "rock" in "pop-rock". Their early works were nice.

Almost as creative as Beyonce's album titles.

Well they've been claiming that this record is more Songs About Jane-ish so hopefully it won't be like that bullshit "Overexposed" record. Maroon 5 is one of my musical guilty pleasures but I can't even listen to "Overexposed" because it's so dull.

What a creative title, wish I would've come up with that. They should really just call this band "The Adam Levine Band" already because the rhythm section does almost nothing.

It Won't Be Soon Before Long is also enjoyable.

Jesse Carmichael is listed in the credits for Overexposed. I think you might have your information wrong.

Anyway, remember in 2009 when this band said Hands All Over would be their last album?

I do.

'The Sun' and 'Sunday Morning' are my favorite songs from them. Really laid back stuff.

Just another excuse to make a music video for another single so the Levine can suck face with some random woman.

It won't be anything good as Songs About Jane. These guys are like 30 Seconds to Mars as far as their metamorphosis goes.
