I have unrealistically high expectations for this for some reason.

Well, "Fever" and the title-track were very bad songs, but the song that was linked yesterday was pretty good nonetheless. I'll stream this as soon as I can, even though I have very low expectations for this

Yeah I mean it's okay so far. Like a 2.5.

Yeah a 2.5 pop album winning AOTY is pretty sure to happen. RS, Grammy's and Billboard suck, but this goes without saying.

Weight of Love (opening track) and Bullet in the Brain really stood out. It would have been a great album if more of the songs were along those lines.

You know, I wasn't going to listen to this album after growing fatigued at hearing 'El Camino's' singles over and over and over. I still pine for a return to the 'Rubber Factory' days, but I don't figure it'll happen. Could've just kept my negative opinion of the album without actually listening to it, which is what I usually do, but I decided to give the stream a chance.

"Weight of Love" blew me away. My opinion started to flip. Then "In Time" played, and it's right about where it started from.

Oh, well. I'll probably still buy it. Maybe it'll grow on me. I don't actually hate their newer music, I'm just not quite as big a fan of it as their older stuff.

this is definitely better than el camino through eight tracks

i like how they went back to the less arena rock style that was prevalent on brothers and before (i.e. their better material)

Weight of Love is amazing. The rest has been a little underwhelming so far.

Well , it's ok , still not as El Camino . El Camino was with more tempo . This one is pretty slow . "Fever" is pretty good. Danger mouse is a dem good producer .
I also llove the old-like sound in this record .
Between 3 to 3.5 IMO
