Gonna be awesome.
Hopefully its good.
Digging: Towkio - Community Service 2
Digging: Bear's Den - Red Earth & Pouring Rain
Just heard the track.
Meh. The "scream" was just to end to song... bah, bland ballad.
Digging: Il Castello di Atlante - Arx Atlantis
Where did you hear it?
I like it.
The lyrics are generic as fuck but the music is fucking sweet.
Although, it's more MTM than the first two albums...
Would have been the saving grace of MTM if it was on it.
Feels like a mix of Living Things and Meteora for me
why the fuck Chester voice is so girly now, what the.... song is not bad i like the instrumental
True. But as far as the "old" or rather "NU" sound is concerned, I haven't heard any signs from the first two singles.
Yeah instrumental kicks some ass.
Chester's voice seems off on the released singles.
Yeah the music to it is great. Vocally a little disappointing.
"Where did you hear it?"
*ahem* "Tune in to BBC Radio 1 on Monday, May 5 at 7:30pm BST (6:30pm GMT) to hear Zane Lowe’s world
premiere of our new single UNTIL IT'S GONE."
Anyways, the intro reminded me of Faint, but the lyrics are just boring and uninspired.
Feels like a mix of Living Things and Meteora for me
I hope there won't be as many ballads as in MTM, first single wasn't bad.
The production sounds a lot better here than it did on Guilty All the Same...I hope that means that it was just a demo
Arrghh I really dug the verses but the song felt too reliant on it's chorus to get through. The first half minute or so was sweet, lyrics are a bit bland and was also expecting Mike to rap somewhere in there as well.
'Feels like a mix of Living Things and Meteora for me '
This hard. Which I'm down with.
Overall it sounds great though but I think had a lot more potential than what it gave.
Digging: Periphery - Periphery III: Select Difficulty
Lyrics and vocals are terrible, chester sounds really girly indeed! Where are the guts?
yeah this sux.
sounds shit, not that i was expecting anything more
Better than mediocre, if only just. The rest of this might not be that bad, but the track list sounds so cliche I wouldn't be surprised if they all sounded like this
it seemed like it was building up for so much more, and then it just fell flat in the chorus. lyrics are cheesy and repetitive.
dont understand why people act like linkin park was ever good
Digging: Michael Formanek - The Distance
"don't understand why people act like linkin park was ever good"
uh, cause they're like the best band ever haha. I hate their new material, but even so, its mad easy to respect. Band keeps changing its sounds and keeps delivering some of the best material whatever genre they're playing at the time has. Played maybe the best nu-metal ever back in the day.
Song is one of the best they've done in recent memory for sure. Definitely still not great; chorus is a little flat and repetitive. But thank god for the guitars and just that little scream at the end made me very aroused.
True that, at least they are still a bit "rock" somehow.
Song is mehhhhhhhhhhh
didn't do anything for me
I've warmed up to it a bit to the point where I don't full-out hate it anymore.
his voice sounds normal to me, song is bad/boring, as expected.
Damn lyric videos! When will the craze end?
Song is average. More MTM than anything earlier.
Not bad . Stoked for the album . Back to the roots??
"his voice sounds normal to me"
He had way better performances.
Hmm, expected a tad better.
Won't judge till I have a finished product.
2.5/5 song, same as the last one. This is going to be one hell of a mediocre album
no man, the last one was heavy
Better than GATS imo, both are growers but at least this one has better production, a sick instrumental, and it doesn't sound like an A7X rip off like GATS did in parts.
3/5 for me.
At least GATS was entertaining.
GATS is the most different they've sounded in a while, and this sounds like standard LP (which I kinda did miss on GATS). I have a feeling the album will be pretty good.
Ok song I guess. Album will probably be a 3.7 out of 7.2.
Can't turn on the radio without hearing this.
GATS (Good Ass Tube Socks)
not bad, LP. pos'd
Sucks, sounds like it could have been off minutes to midnight
Digging: Immolation - Here in After
why posting 10 seconds of an awful song. whats the point
that they have always been shit?
I thought that was pretty good honestly. Lyrics are pretty cliche but that's pretty much it.
The song sounds like a B-Side of 'A Beautiful Lie' by 30 Seconds to Mars, but terrible because it's monotone throughout.
Good song. Not their best but it's good.
Digging: Silent Planet - Everything Was Sound
SO GIVE ME REASONNNNNN
lol lyrics are the most generic thing ever why would you highlight them with this video.
Alright, I think I replayed this five times now.
It went from shit to meh back to shitty shit shit.
Still better than MTM lol
Didn't expect much else, Chester's worst vocals to date
Yeah, objectively speaking, it's a pretty solid tune with great instrumentals and a solid delivery from Chester, although yes, some of the lyrics are cringe-worthy to say the least.
Digging: Nick Mulvey - First Mind
You'd think Chester would learn something from playing with STP... something.
It's okay. I expected something better, but it might grow on me.
The lyrics are super generic, and they really shouldn't highlight them with lyric video. I would understood if they were as good as Powerless, but this is meh...
I hope that the rest of the record is gonna be better, or flows as good as A Thousand Suns (even the weakest song sounds wonderful as a part of the record)
Hear is, is decent but chester had better performances before, instrumetal part is good but it sounds like something coming from 30STM when they were doing stuff like a beautiful lie or this is war. Have seen far worse lyrics than this one but linkin park had songs with better constructed lyrics than this one. Still, is too soon too judge the album considering that there are just 2 singles and that this track will be softest thing on this album ( I hope so)
didn't like it.
GATS was better
GATS was better
There's no one else to blame but Linkin Park.
I see what you did there...
Single is not bad and compared to tracks like leave it out the rest, lies greed misery, we made it or robot boy this is pure gold.
good lord...robot boy, ugh
This would still be a highlight on any of their last 3 albums. Taking into consideration that they said this is one of the softest if not the softest song on the album, this new LP looks like its shaping up to be good.
This will be the softest track, besides the 2 preview in loudwire and in altwire said that this album sound more promising and that will be better than LT ( liked that album but it has a lot of aspects that could have been better)
I predict the instrumentals will be great throughout the album, but the lyrics will be pretty bland. It may very well turn out to be their best though.
They're lyrics have always been kind cliche if you ask me, regardless on how much I enjoy their first two albums.
Just found out that this is going to have explicit lyrics in it, hopefully it's just the guest artists. This kinda drops down my hype for this a bit actually.
um.. why can't chester or mike swear. wtf?
to me it just sounds really really awkward when they do, especially when they did in MTM
Have you heard Fort Minor.
and High Voltage.
Yeah I've heard High Voltage before, and I know where you're getting at. I never really liked the lyrics on that song in the first place.
High voltage is chill as fuck and has one of the best lyrics written by mike, the rap part on that track is legit as hell, mike and chester trying to be rude usually sound kinda weird and forced with the exception of the outro of points of authority in milton keynes
Don't you love When They Come For Me?
TRY THE KETCHUP MOTHERFUCKA
FUCK IT ARE YOU LISTENING NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
TELL ME WHAT THE FUCK IS WROOOOOOOONG
