the way they describe this album is so amazingly hilarious... before they said it had "deep, heavy crystalline synthesizer journeying, Eno-inspired analog processing and arcane acoustic instrumentation" and in this article they say "Their songs explore the hidden world of magic that one accesses through dreams" and "In their songs, rain-drenched spectres loom at the edge of the woods. Ancient cedar beings stir beneath their wet moss robes."

i have no idea what to think

It's gonna have loads of thick synths and acoustic lines that will make you question your existence as a cluster of cells working in tandem.

At this point I'd actually prefer if they just go all out weird

Enjoyed Celestial lineage and this sounds interesting, but i don't think they'll hit it as strong as they did with Two Hunters. Still can't wait to hear this.

They do have a knack for making cool ambient passages. It'll be interesting to see how they make them into full songs. I think this'll at least be decent.

I'm guessing this is gonna be Dia Artio from Two Hunters on a much larger scale.. Which could get boring fast.

Yeah but Dea Artio + Cleansing + Permanent Changes in Consciousness = joy.

The vinyl edition of Two Hunters has an extended version of Cleansing--it has another full six minutes of ambient--and it's still wonderful. I can see this totally working, now that I really think about it.

That six minutes of extra ambience is one of my favourite moments in music. Actually, that whole song is one of my all time favourites too.

Awesome artwork, really excited for this. I think it'll be a nice change of pace after the snooze fest that was Celestial Lineage.
