Coldplay have released another new song from their upcoming album Ghost Stories,
entitled 'A Sky Full Of Stars'. The song is more electronic than Coldplay have been in the
past, and was produced in collaboration with Avicii.

I was so stoked for this album when I heard Midnight. I was thinking this would be their Kid A. I appear to have been wrong .

Also, this appears to just be a remix that they're making the actual song. It's not great, but I do like that guitar lead towards the
end.

I am so confused on the direction of this album... [2]

I had hopes for this... I mean, Midnight and Magic were pretty good, and Another's Arms was ok, but this... no...

I've notices a lot of the songs released (except for this one) had exceptional music backing them but the lyrics really bring all of them down.

This isn't bad at all, the new album is shaping up to be awesome based on all the tracks released/played live so far.

Take out the name Avicii and the response wouldn't be as extreme.

Song is fine just not really focusing on Coldplay's strengths.

They should have released their studio version of Oceans in place of this. That song is awesome.

I am so confused on the direction of this album [3]

So they went from working with Jon Hopkins, one of the best names in electronica right now, to Avicii, one of the worst. Huh. "Midnight" and "Magic" also made this one of my most anticipated albums of the year, but if this is on it, then I mind as well not even get it.

Although, if the poster above is correct, I'm hoping this is just a remix and not the actual song.

Midnight was really cool, Magic was alright, this is...pretty lame

But then again, Coldplay albums have never been very consistent, just gotta hope the high points are high enough

I wouldn't say the song is terrible but based on the two preivously released songs, especially "midnight" I expected something else, something more interesting. lets hope that this is the obligatory hit song they have to deliver to the label with each release and that they focus on their new sound on the other tracks

'but if this is on it, then I mind as well not even get it.'

Its one fucking song. Damn man.

Apparently this is the only song like this on the album, everything is stripped down similar to Magic and Midnight.

"Magic" was incredible, "Midnight" grew on me, this is pretty mediocre. Hoping I get more from it in the context of the album.

I actually said "Goddammit" out loud when the big electronic chorus bit came on. Someone said this was a remix earlier? That would make sense. Hopefully this album isn't shit. I really like "Midnight".
