After hearing Chris' interviews and approach as of late, I'm actually pretty stoked on this. Enjoyed Fatal and Sick from the Melt as the extra tracks of Infamous and liked the production they came up with on the rerelease.
Last album sucked
All albums suck.
"Enjoyed... Sick from the Melt"
Don't have the interview on hand, but they used that song as a reference for the new sound on the album.
Digging: Somos - Temple of Plenty
These guys make such average metalcore. All they have going for them is their stupid "Goth" gimmick.
The frontman said they're going to be even more industrial this time around so this album is dead on arrival.
Digging: frnkiero andthe cellabration - Stomachaches
why do they have to make another one? havent they released enough generic breakdown core?
Dude on the far right looks like fucking Beetlejuice.
Last album was a shitty attempt at replicating Manson...Manson-core no good. Creatures was awesome. Looking forward to these scary mofos' next release.
Maybe it's 'cause he's on the song, but Sick From the Melt sounds like the Witch Was Right. If MIW's new album sounds like them, then I'll be stoked for it.
Digging: The Twilight Sad - Nobody Wants To Be Here And Nobody Wants To Leave
Creatures was a pretty good album. Last album not so much. But still no reason to mindlessly shit on them.... yet.
Infamous had a few cool songs though
Digging: Job for a Cowboy - Sun Eater
band sucks live. drummer isnt very good. and it was funny to hear chris try and sing the bjorn strid parts (song goes hard
though). the mm sounding songs were interesting live as many of the kids there (i was waiting for letlive) didn't really know
who they were copying.
Not sure I like MM style though.
Was it the old or new drummer you saw?
whatever drummer they had at Soundwave.
fina be shit
Dude on the far right looks like fucking Beetlejuice.
It's actually kind of scary how similar they are...
Digging: Bring Me the Horizon - Sempiternal
Excited for this! Interested to see which direction they go.
