Took a few listens to grow on me but I like this quite a bit.
This is good.
Hm, not sure how I feel
this is not good.
I liked it
I don't know. I'm impressed. But I still miss the good cop bad cop aspect to AILD.
I'm digging this... not AILD at all obviously but still cool.
vox sux, music is alright
I like Shane, but a whole song with him isn't my cup of tea (just like with Shayley from OM&M), but the music was alright.
This would be sick if I still liked Avenged Sevenfold.
vox sux, music is alright
eh. It sounds like Black veil brides with slightly better guitar work
^ It's not very good, but I wouldn't go that far.
geez the amount of compression in this is literally suffocating me
Really glad this isn't just AILD pt 2, though I wish the song was a little longer and not so predictably structured.
"This would be sick if I still liked Avenged Sevenfold."
You're cray cray, this band doesn't have a vacuum cleaner for a vocalist
Not bad, gentlemen. Not bad at all.
Agreed with everyone, pretty good song. Enjoyed.
Pretty solid track. I like Shane's voice, it just sounds uninspired...
I like this. I want more.
Not bad. Not good.
It's like a good version of all those radio rock bands
I like this quite the bit.
very underwhelming, the guitar work is pretty fun, but the vocals really take away from the instrumentals.
ok ... but why AILD clean vocalist is not doing the vocals . I can't hear much differences between him to Oh ,Sleeper 's vocalist ... ?
Digging: Arch Enemy - Will to Power
The guitars are so far back in the mix, i don't even.
Song is meh.
I mean the whole production is sounding awful i hope this isn't close to the final product.
Musically, this is pretty much what As I Lay Dying were doing on Awakened. Though it isn't bad at all, I do miss the dynamics of the harsh/clean contrast, especially since the instrumental sound is so similar to what they did on their last few records.
I was just so happy to hear that it wasn't totally radio-friendly. I mean it kinda is but at least it brings some heavy as far as instruments go. I do agree the production isn't what it could be and I also think it could really use some screaming. It wouldn't even need full sections of screams, just like screams to finish out lines and final notes of choruses etc. And I definitely think Josh should contribute to some vocals. Think it would give it a nice blend of sound. His vocals sounded good on the few clips they showed a couple weeks back.
it was alright but i wouldnt listen to it again anytime soon.
@Jake I'm pretty sure Josh had a few lines in this. There were a few short spots that sounded exactly like his voice, although they sounded more like backing vocals. And that's what I was meaning, more or less, regarding the vocals. I don't want the "screamed verse/clean chorus" kinda bullshit. Just that occasional harsher edge does wonders to make a track more dynamic.
this blows dick.
Digging: Rainbow Danger Club - Souvenirs
im shocked (read: not shocked) by how mediocre this is
I miss Tim's vox; too bad he had to go and do something so shitty.
