So are they going full pop ?
| |
Can't wait
| |
oi this band just doesnt give up
| |
won't listen to it i think, i'm bored even if SOAPF wasn't bad.
| |
just make every song like "A New Dawn" and it should be decent
| |
Don't have high hopes but will listen regardless, I still like ASOP.
| |
SOAPF was pretty decent so maybe this will be good as well.
| |
retire
| |
AHHHHHHHHH IM SOOOO FUCKING STOKED, FAVORITE BAND EVER.
| |
They've been saying they are going to try to get back to Jester Race-Clayman era.
| |
About damn time!
| |
this wont be good
| |
"I've got HIGH HOPES!" - Bruce Springsteen
| |
Yeah, that album name does suck..
| |
i wish they would just disband now.
| |
too bad
| |
I would be very surprised if this doesn't suck.
| |
The music that goes with the tease doesn't sound too bad...the heavier part reminds of STYE.
| |
They're just destroying their old legacy with each new shitty album.
| |
lol this sucks
| |
i personally dont like this band anymore so they should stop making music because i'm important and things that dont affect me are bothersome
| |
That sure was a great teaser! I'm sure this will suck but maybe Anders will stop sucking dick
| |
Dopest band in the game. Stoked beyond stoked. SOAPGF was definitely below reroute/colony/clayman days but it still kinda kicked ass. These boys just know how to do it.
| |
acad is stoked
| |
Haven't liked anything they've done in a while so probably won't listen.
| |
But I'll always respect the crap out of these guys.
| |
"They've been saying they are going to try to get back to Jester Race-Clayman era."
link, please. album name isnt as bad as "sounds of a playground fading"
| |
Last album and title track should have been named "Ghosts of the Concrete World"
| |
Much respect for this band, but I haven't enjoyed much of anything from them in quite some time. I'll check this out of course, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
| |
A New Dawn rocked so I have hopes
| |
"i personally dont like this band anymore so they should stop making music because i'm important and things that dont affect me are bothersome" [2]
| |
I've got faith. Dug SOAPF.
| |

soundtrack pretty much sucked
| |
Mine too,i have the 666 there,i'm cool and br00tal
| |
Clayman rules, but i think most agree that RTR is where they really...
got off track.
| |
RTR was amazing.
| |
RTR blows balls. terrible production, shit vocals, and lots of filler. Claymans vocals were terrible, but the riffs were still there man, the riffs. when will the suffering end? WHY DO THEY KEEP HURTING ME??
| |
It will never end and you know it. >:-D
| |
Never really liked Clayman honestly
| |
His vox were great on Clayman.
| |
meh...maybe I should listen to it again sometime. I found it to be rather boring. Though I do remember Pinball Map being pretty good.
| |
Well, I'm busy listening to Deftones so maybe later I'll give it another go
| |
Yeah dood they are all classic albums.
| |
In Flames has kicked ass from the beginning of their discography to the end. STYE wasn't very good, but Sweet Shadow is one of their best songs ever imo. No doubt Colony was perhaps the highlight of their career but their new albums still rule. Clayman definitely great, RTR definitely sick, CC definitely pretty good, ASOP not very good but still okay, SOAPGF great.
| |
The last good album In Flames released was Come Clarity. I think I'll skip this.
| |
Never really got into their last two albums. I kinda stopped after Come Clarity.
@MegaJake Finally someone who actually LIKES Soundtrack to Your Escape aside from me.
| |
I don't care if they stop being as heavy, as long as the songs they write are good. In fact, I thought the more catchy songs on SOAPF were the best ones (out of the ones I heard)
| |
update: I've given up
| |
@toondude yeah Pinball Map is great, every song on that album is great though. even the weakest one (As the Future Repeats Today, imo).
| |
Meh, I'm still not seeing any signs of that 3 rating for Clayman getting up anytime soon. I'm probably going to have to give a few more spins.
| |
The classic gothernburg sound is dead, and has been for a while. Many bands have tried to replicate the sounds of TJR, Whoracle and colony but have failed.
Maybe the easiest thing to do, is to listen to those albums when I have a hankering for them and otherwise move on to new music.
| |

I love that album. It's a nice inbetween the sounds of Jester Race and Come Clarity
| |
I thought their last one was pretty decent. A Sense of Purpose wasn't very good though.
| |
Their last two were okay, but a Sense of Purpose is their weakest album yet.
| |
I have two In Flames shirts and they are from their two weakest albums ASOP and SOAPF lol
| |
hahaha
| |
yeah my shirt is from ASOP but i dont care, it looks badass.
| |
Colony and Clayman are their best albums. Come Clarity was great. I liked SOAPF, and it would have been better had it not been for the shitty lyrics on all of those songs except for "A New Dawn".
| |
Colony is my second favorite following Reroute to Remain (yes I like that album, shut the fuck up)
| |
First 5 albums plus Subterranean are their best even though i still like their new stuff
| |
Aside from Clayman, their old stuff was fantastic.
| |
Actually, I take that back. All of their older albums (except maybe Lunar Strain) were fantastic.
| |
Yeah Lunar Strain is the worst of their old albums but it is still a very solid debut
| |
True that
