#prog let's hope
At the Drive-In 2.0 please
i can dig it.
That rehearsal sounds amazing.
that's what's up! yayyyyy.
its my group
Sounding good so far
Digging: Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition
Digging: Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman
They come up with the most hipster names
That already sounds better then than hippy shit they were trying to pull off
That little dispute got patched up quick. Liking the guitar groove too. Not expecting anything of Frances level, but I'm digging it.
God damn, this sounds like it could be great
Digging: City of the Sun - To the Sun and All the Cities in Between
ya it does hory shet
Stoked for whatever this is, oh god yes
they don't hate each other anymore aw
Another new vid
fuck my dick is hard
Damn, Cedric's voice is fucked.
these two dudes are the worst thing to happen to music
Digging: Edamame - Ochre
u dont even have the pow'r white boy
HAVE YOU EVER TASTED SKIN
The goliath and guitareth cometh! Those hepkat and lordpots guys should show some respect! Who do they think they are? Couple of whiny pair of panties, that's who. =)
This is pretty amazing. Nothing but badass musicians on this collaboration
61 jazz wooaaah
Whoever was asking Flea about his bass sounded somewhat insincere.
I'm beyond excited for this, I've loved virtually everything these two have done together.
i think we might have another good album coming up
i'm glad they don't hate each other anymore
Eh? I thought these two had out grown each other musically. Not complaining, like. But If Juan is doing the bass parts for this (more than likely) it's just TMV...
Digging: Queen - A Night at the Opera
Holy fuck, Flea is doing the bass parts in that video, I stand corrected.
I'm going to assume you didn't watch the video and notice who was playing bass, though Flea did play bass on De-Loused and Elitch toured with them, so this is pretty much just Volta in terms of line-up
And you beat me to the punch as I was typing my comment. Damn
The vid that Stallion posted sounds so fucking good. I love Cedric and his crazy ramblings
I still want The Mars Volta trips back.
Digging: The Dear Hunter - Act V: Hymns With The Devil In Confessional
He is talking to motherfucking FLEA and he is condescending like he's humoring a sixth grade orchestra geek. These guys need to take a hiatus at the bottom of the ocean.
But then they'd get all wet..
Yeah, I kinda sensed this inevitable return, mainly because of how much Cedric's been tweeting about, well, nothing. It seems like he's been slacking since the "breakup" happened. He needs money to pay the bills, I guess.
Digging: The Weeknd - Starboy
this sounded like the opening from an 80s action show
wonder if froosh will have any input
Excited for this, not sure about Cedric's voice, though.
Digging: Portugal. The Man - Waiter: ''You Vultures!''
These guys make new projects all the time
new single already. someone buy it, upload it to youtube
sounds promising. i dig the stripped down, 4-piece rock n roll vibe of that tune.
it's so mild..................................
'4AM' pretty boring though.
title should read 'something something Antemasque'. I'm sure they'd like to be known as that.
"He is talking to motherfucking FLEA and he is condescending like he's humoring a sixth grade orchestra geek. These guys need to take a hiatus at the bottom of the ocean."
He wasn't condescending. Wtf?
Full song is pretty boring imo.
Might as well bring back The Mars Volta pre-Noctourniquet.
i thought i heard davey havok singing at one point
The vocals drag this song down for me.
Digging: Unwound - New Plastic Ideas
lol dumb comments itt
ced sounds better than he has in years
This sounds absolutely amazing!!!
"ced sounds better than he has in years"
I am a long time TMV fanboy and I disapprove of this message
the song is better upon return though
His bass is made with real butterflies.
Song fuckin rules
it's also the most uninteresting they've been in 20
i dig the single. sounds like bosnian rainbows but with cedric
I'm really digging it... I'm just happy they're making music together again. I really thought their collaboration was over for good a year ago.
All I want to know is how many butterflies went into the making of that bass?
Song is amazing. Short and too the point, never thought I'd see the day.
for constantly making albums and being an ex drug addict and 40 years old... i think Cedric sounds great.. i feel like most people would be burnt out
Straight up, no bullshit (never thought I'd see the day ) alt rock that sounds like a post-punk ATDI. Cool.
this is so forgettable
To be fair, it's an introductory song, not some sort of album foreshadowing lead single. It sounds like it's the first song the band has ever written--which it probably is--but it does exactly what a first song should do: sets down clear foundations for both the listeners and the band themselves. No bullshit, completely raw. You can tell that this sound is just waiting for expansion but right now, "4AM" captures the energy completely unadulterated and that's all it needs to do.
btw Flea's bass playing is super stripped down on "4AM" but there's a new studio video where he's freaking killing it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybOOTCLc7PU
2nd new track
Digging the second song a lot more. Although 4AM is really growing on me as well.
um.........I'm really not feeling anything from the new song
not sure if im really digging either of them
I'm getting a lot of Rush influence on the 4AM single.
Another new track; http://antemasque.bandcamp.com/track/people-forget
Digging: Bruno Mars - 24K Magic
so excite, very disappoint, much butthurt
Very Nice how much
